It is possible to re-write history !
by cajetan coelho on Jul 18, 2007 09:14 PM

Team India is loaded with talent and experience. Judicious use of our gifted pacers in short spells around the combative Anil Kumble could pose all sorts of problems to the opposition. Staying at the wicket and building partnerships for every wicket has to be the mission statement of our batsmen and the think-tank. Team India can re-write new chapters of positive history.

India vs England
by ramachandran nair on Jul 18, 2007 03:23 PM

Forget the past and think of today. This time it will be altogether a different story. wait and watch as to how our boys are performing their potential and bring glory to cricket as well as India. Look for Sreesant in the company of Khan.I very much wanted to see Pathan also included in the team but for his form. He is our boy next door and I am sure he would be back with a bang. What a graceful player he is !!!

India is going to lose the Tests as they support Dhoni instead of Dinesh, always side line VVS,Tendulkar, Dravid all are going to shine partly, supporting Ajit who is a waste..only Yuraj and ganguda will stand up..but our bowlers can not take 20 english wickets...too much for them

Dinesh Karthik ought to be in the scheme of things when playing in England but NOT at the cost of Dhoni, though some sort of complacency crept in him. I firmly believe Sreesant would be our trumph card in the company of seasoned Zaheer Khan. I also very much wanted to see Pathan in their company but for his poor form. He is a fighter, a boy next door, and I am sure he will be back with a bang !!! It is always a delight to watch him playing with a smiling face. We can only wish the team for their collective success but obviously they have to perform and fight it out. Victory does not come so easily.

will you please just enjoy the game?
by Prashant on Jul 17, 2007 07:59 PM  | Hide replies

Without going into all these useless stats?
Cricket is a game, just relax and enjoy, even if India loses, just critisize them(without hurting their family.). Shout at them, stop watching games, their adds. If they win celebrate it.

Dont go in too much into it. Just have fun.

Ravindra is actually right.....Rediff is trying to divert ourselves in a game where we will achieve nothing...it is just a sport.
Whereas our country's position is getting screwed up in a more global way due to this muslim terrorists of "INDIA"...there u will not find any discussion board(either way... bad or good).
Why shud we conc. on cricket when our country is facing more humiliation than ever elsewhere and an impotent govt. is trying to save it's vote-bank just by appeasing this muslim community, to whom religion and terrorism comes first and country doesn't mean anything !!!
U don't have to do good thing always but u can refrain urself from doing bad also.
isn't it ??
