I have read lot off comment on tendulkar about his pessimistic character about victory. But i think they have no idea about cricket. If you people will see the past, you would find tendulkar was the player who came at the time when indian cricket team was struggling. He removed the phobia of loss against pakistan and always gave good punishment to fastest bowlers all over the world. Every bowler scared to ball him. Win/loss/draw doesn't depend on individual performance, it depends on team performance.I never seen tendulkar in the pessimistic mood in field. He always try to speak with bat inspite of mouth. You people should wait and watch. I dont think you will be in the situation to make any comment on his ability after england series. I can only laugh on you people to criticise on Tendulkar attitude as you should remember he already got man of the series award in two consecutive series against bangladesh and south africa respectively.
Flintoff and Harmison both not able to play test and now Hoggard extremely doubtful for 1st Test.....So there is nothing to afraid for "Tindlu".....He can able to make HALF CENTURY..... "Tendla" be happy and make your blind worshiper happy too.....Keep it up....Keep fooling your fan and be a GOD for them...!!!!!!!!

Why you are bothered about his records buddy. Your barking thru this site doesnt affect his or anybody's status. try to live in this world as cool guy.
..for anyone who defends tendla..this shud be a slap in the face from their own demi god....all he cares is his century period. has he ever said a victory for india at lords atleast for the record?? nope..u'll never find such statement from this selfish player..all u hear is that got guy a century there..this guy got a century here..so he has to get it..let the team be damned..he's been trying it for 16-17yrs and still has not achieved it..the great "master" blaster...

What is wrong in aiming for a ton at Lords which is called the home of cricket. Every player wants to score a ton there and there is nothing wrong in having ambition. Don't think you are the only one who is patriotic and others are not.

by Ifear paceman on Jul 18, 2007 07:04 PM
wrong... strike was there when Kapil scored marathon knock against Bangla desh.
interestingly on that day other match eng vs Nz after 6 down in hostile clowdy seaming swinging conditions and then 8 down Newzealand tailenders scored 12 per over in last 12 overs and won the match.
The match is shown several times since then even few days back ESPN telecasted that match.

Mr.Sajid,
BBC was on strike when Kapil scored a century against Zimbabwe. The final was telecasted and like Sachin, many Indians saw that on TV. Get your facts right before commenting.

It is not a joke. I watched the 1983 semi final and final on the TV. For 30 or 40 minutes there was some disturbance in the telecast but when the telecast resumed Windies were 4 down for 60.

It should be 'was telelecast'. however we all saw the match live on TV. may I know how you got this specific information of STRIKE IN BBCekDek
i would like to make an honest admission..nothing matters more to me than sachin doing well in a match..this is irrespective of the result of the game...if sachin fails in a game my whole day goes down the drain...are there any others who feel the same way..
RE:sachin...the reason for our joy
by Azharuddin Sajid on Jul 18, 2007 02:29 PM
so u want sachin to score irrespective of the the result, good love for the individual but not for the country!!!! I hope whoever performs, but INDIA shud win, it doesn't matter to me who performs may be karrthik, RP singh or zaheer, but the final result should be that India win the match....
The unimaginable happened on Sunday. Sachin Tendulkar joined the ranks of mortals in the eyes of Indian cricket fans. After pottering around for 33 minutes for a solitary run, he lamely poked a widish ball from James Anderson to the wicketkeeper to plunge India to 28 for 3 and began his walk back to the dressing-room. The normal consequence of the Tendulkar dismissal at an Indian ground is a hushed, funereal silence. That was never going to be case this time because of the presence of a large and voluble posse of English fans. But when Tendulkar was about halfway to the dressing-room, the booing started, most noticeably and vociferously from the Garware Pavillion, which is just above the dressing-room, and which is populated exclusively by the invitees of the Mumbai Cricket Association. And soon it spread to the other parts of the ground.
He did at Bombay, I hope "Tendia" will not do the same at Lord's and put himself and India in shamefull situation..........
