ok. Mr. Panesar. Lets see whether u win or the Indian batsmen win. Except Muralitharan, till date, no spinner(including Shane Warne) was able to trouble the Trio and VVS. And even Murali did trouble only sachin, he couldn't trouble VVS and Dravid. So, watch out, Mr.Panesar, Indian batsmen are hungry and u will be hit all around the park.

Good news is that the BCCI is trying to hook up Miandad (batting coach) and Imran Khan (bowling coach) for the Indian team.

No problem. when australians can play word games, why can't indians? And when every tom dick and harry can make all stupid comments on these kind of forums and in the media, then why not Mr. Engineer air his views? He is entitled to have his opinion and can air his opinion as well.
One can underestimate an opponent at his/her own peril. Sozzled Engineer is an idiot to show such bravado when he is not going to face the bowler.
Note, I am not saying that we should see monsters in every bowler in the world, but as a people we should give credit to an intelligent human being, who can maximise his talent, even if it is limited.

Just remember that it was the three left arm spinners of Bangladesh, who ruined our party at WC. Am sure, we can claim to have hundreds of such bowlers on the Kolkatta Maidans.

65 wickets in 17 matches is almost 4 wickets per test. That is impressive. WI was easy prey for him, but he did well against AUS too.

Engineer is right. Bowler like monty is available all over the indai. Indian batsman paly him like a local bowler. If our indian batsamn are able to paly bowler like monty it is better to start Gulli- Danda.
If we recollect before the Pakistan Tour a certain Javed Miandad had commented on a rising star called Irfan Pathan and had written him off by saying that Pakistan had a Irfan in every 'galli' of the country. Well is history repeating himself. Seeing the class of our batting line-up one would safely say that Monty is not that equipped to bowl us out. However saying this we cannot get complacent and one good Monty day can rattle us. I do not agree by either writing off or exulting a bowler before a series it could act as a serious morale booster for anyone

If India bt pakis in any match , AKRAM will be held responsible in pakistan and fatwa be issued.. Infact players like Miandad and Imran khan will also blame him.. Thats pakistan for you.

India loses to pakistan (which would be quite often) we would blame akram instead of players( who are mostly responsible) and question akram's professionalism and integrity

Bharat, So what you want? more BODO, more NAGA, more Mao? Respect people not race, religion, cast! be human and then hindu, muslim, sikh, christian!
Indian is psychologically weak and we must not forget the India Vs Bangaldesh Match in WC 2007. India lost to the minnows, main reason being inability to with stand pressure and fear of losing. Three spinners who were just beginners in International Cricket rattled the confidence of Giants in Indian Cricket. Farokh Engineer was hiding in his In Laws place during WC 2007.
A real test for players is when he is under pressure and even a ordinary Under 16 Spinners can rattle the Indian top and middle order when it is under pressure. Imagine a situation where India is 25/4 and Monty Panesar is in ..
I am sure that Monty will not be a MEAT but India will feel the HEAT.
