Eat your Hat, Ian Chappell
by Great Attitude on Jul 17, 2007 07:30 PM  | Hide replies

Where's Ian Chappell hiding? Why isn't he coming out and saying anything now? He was all over Tendy when India fared badly at the World Cup, saying Tendy should retire. Eat your hat and apologise for your stupid statements if you have any balls, Mr Chappell!

There is a good chance for TENDU
by Mahesh Dave on Jul 17, 2007 12:54 PM  | Hide replies

Harmisom and Flintoff will not able to play in Test....so "Tendia" is lucky...he can make 30 to 40 runs in every match and, If "Tendlu" make half century by chance then Tindu's supporters and blind worshiper gonna fly high in air....
And I wish poor "Tundu" will get few chances like he got in practice match....All the best"Tindu"... Keep fooling your fans, who allways wear dark goggles...they gonna make you from paper-tiger to master blaster....how sad...

Forget the individual man, just consider the innings, Good inning - praise bad innnings criticise. One good innings wont make a genius, one bad innings doesnt make one useless. So far there is no one to replace him. In International cricket you ask for more; never less; when it comes to replacements. So when we see the Mai ka LAL who can deliver we will give him the same reverence. Till then why should we even consider medicore replacements for a genuinely good batsman.

Yes, Sir, we should now take your advice on how Sachin should be treated.

In fact, Sachin should get himself enrolled in your coaching classes.

The jury is still out
by John Bosco on Jul 16, 2007 04:49 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin\\\\\\\'s innings at Chelmsford was good. But the jury is still out if he can deliver at Test level,as his recent problem is that he is insecure at the crease. So wait till Lord\\\\\\\'s to know where he stands. Also there seems to be no worry at all for the rest as to whether they deliver or not.Jaffer, Ganguly,Karthick.Dravid ,Dhoni have to deliver and the Sachin dependency brought down.It is a good series to know where we are post the WC debacle.

Sachin is not GOD. Give him a break. He can't perform in each and every game he plays. Compare the runs he made in any single year with the player who made most of the runs in that year. You will find him close. Most of the people are critisizing him. Sachin has always performed and will continue performing.

What about other 10 players? What the hell are they doing?

On Sachin and beyond
by John Bosco on Jul 16, 2007 04:40 PM

We cannot go gaga over the innings at Chelmsford. The jury is still out on whether he can deliver in Tests consistently. That belief has been shaken and we have to see whether he fires at Lord\\\\\\\'s.The extent of reliance on him is too much, the rest shd also deliver. Both batting and bowling look brittle. The forecast for the Lord\\\\\\\'s test not good.

sachin, the all time best....
by Moumita biswas on Jul 16, 2007 04:11 PM  | Hide replies

sachin is the god of indian cricket. He is the heart or the brain of indian cricket. people with no brain who have no work started to make comment on sachin but they forget that in his 41 centuries india wins 30 matches.
when sachin makes a big hundred then india must win, but when he fails then the other 10 membars also fails . then the so called cricket experts said that sachin can not make runs in crucial condition. shame on the foolish experts.
people r so ungrateful that they forget how much enjoyment sachin is giving to them.shaaaaaaaaaaame on the ungrateful people

I perfectly agree with you Moumita. People use to say that Sachin wont perform in crucial matches. But the fact is when he gets a century, its almost certain that India will win that match, and people use to forget that. When India loses a match, the so called experts comments that it's because he didn't score a century or so. Why they are forgetting that he's having the record of most number of centuries in international cricket? After all those 30 matches would have been crucial if he haven't scored that centuries. The other "experts" here dont know how it feels when you are facing a fast bowler using leather ball. They probably are using rubber balls. For those guys, "Its never easy to play when you are using leather balls instead of rubber balls". And i could say that i have played a reasonably good number of times using leather balls.
