Depleted England side

Well, there is only one survivor from the Ashes winning foursome of Harmison, Flintoff, Simon Jones, Hoggard when England last defeated Australia in the home series.

While it may be good news for improperly equipped batsmen like Ganguly, Dhoni and the lazy moving Jaffer, the contest could still be in favour of England. If Hoggard & Sidebottom who have been in good form can put it in the right place, it could sound deathknell for Rahul's men. Ganguly will be tested for inadequacy against rising ball.
