I m a big fan of Saqi. Find him, cute, flappy-eared with a typical Paki IQ. Invokes divinity twice every sentence.. I hope he has picked up some English
After the exit of Mac Grath and Shane Warne there are not many world class bowlers left in the world cricket at the moment. As a result its no big deal for any batsmen to average 40 to 50 as there are hardly any good bowlers who can test them. Cricket is fast becoming more and more boring these days with the batsmen dominating every game. If Saqlain can make it, it is certainly a welcome call. Cant compare Monty to Saqlain, No way!

hey i really think panesar and saki would do well together !! saqlain is the one who started the doosra before anyone else came up with it..so he was one of the best at that time..hope he has more to offer
During the 2005 Ashes Series, matches were being telecast on Channel 4. During the pre-match talk, Mark Nicholas asked Graham Gooch what he thought of players like Solanki, Kabir Ali and the likes.
Gooch said ... believe me this is live on air, " we don't need these players. What we need is a bunch of good ENGLISH players. Get some of the best in the country and put them in an academy and select the best to play for England".
At this point, Mark Nicholas didn't know what to say and he said, lets take a break now and went off air.
This goes to show how much the White English players like and respect brits of Asian origin.

Remember what a newspaper wrote about this current team in England "this team is at best can compete, but not win."
"Not win" that too against this third-rate English team, that is the attitude they have even today.

I cannot find any taping/website/news article of this 'interview' of Gooch. There have also been other instances where Gooch has praised Solanki and the likes for their contribution to English cricket. My guess is that your piece of 'news' is just a rumor. I think one has to always give the other person the benefit of the doubt before you start criticizing.

Once they read their cricketing history they will realize that they are just LOSERS in real sense. In modern Cricket, ENGLAND cannot get 11 man out without picking Asians!
Saqlain all the very best...I pray to God for your success with England...it will be a great sight to see you and Monty Panesar bowling in tandem...Dr S Ghosh
