In twenty twnety world cup, we should try a hard hitter like parthiv patel as an opener. You cant allow such a volcano of talent to seat out side the team.

Dear Shakeel,

Actually u r confused with the english word HARD HITTER means JOR SE or hit with power..

Hope now u will realise Parthiv is not the person u wanted for 20-20

Parthiv and hardhitting? Big joke? He is fit to play only Ranji trophy matches. We already have two great wicketkeepers who can thrash opposite bowlers. Dhoni and R Uthappa. Karthik another WK has even won a 20-20 match for us against South Africa. Why we need Parthiv now?.

Pathiv Patel is selected often and given more chances because of the Patel Community lobby which has strong influence over BCCI.
He is the most unfit player played ever for India. He is not even fit for any state team.

Dinesh Karthik
by Venkatesh Sekhar on Jul 09, 2007 11:55 AM  | Hide replies

Dinesh Karthik, is similar to Steve waugh of Australia in many ways. He is not a flamboyant cricketer like Sachin, Sourav or Dravid. He has limited resources. But best is his patience, he plays to his strength, he adapts to the situation very well.

He is very good find, he can be an idle candidate to be the captain of Indian team.

All the best. Do good for the country. Dont loose your concentration and go after money. Money will come to you automatically if you perform well.

VERY VERY BAD GILCHRIST,

Whenever any bad performer retained his place in the team due to XYZ reasons, Laxman was AXED even after showing a much better and consistant performance

Selectors have done injustice to Laxman not once..twice...BUT no of times, shame on BCCI selectors not on Laxman

Dada is a sucker. He is the most selfish player India had. He plays Cricket only to earn money & fame, not for love for game or contry. Look at his contract, It states he will earn more when he stays on the field while batting. He is pathetic. Only Sachin rocks

Dada is more worst than match-fixers like Azhar,Manoj Prabhakar and Wasim Akram etc.
Ganguly bats slowly for getting more money by staying in crease for long time.He puts money, ego and other selfish intersts above cricket.
NOTE: Only sheer folls will support DADA.

i think if a slow batsman like Dravid can play in ODIs, then why not Laxman. Dravid is in ODIs by virtue of his captaincy. if not he wastes lot of deliveries. He is a stylish and beautiful player and a very good slip fielder. Why he should feel ashamed? He is certainly better than saurav who played dirty tricks in the media. Laxman just aired his dissappointment and there is nothing wrong with that. I guess u don't watch much test cricket either. Laxman scores faster than others except tendulkar in test matches.

RE:Resignation Letter
by Venkatesh Sekhar on Jul 09, 2007 11:58 AM
I would like to resign from my job with immediate effect. I have taken this decision to pursue another opportunity that would act as a catalyst in my career.
I would be serving a one month notice starting tomorrow and would like to be relieved of my responsibilities by February 15, 2007. I would like to thank you for your support and insights that made my stint a great learning experience.
I am currently working on the following projects:
%u2022      Conducting market research for our proposed product -- slated to be completed by end of this week.
%u2022      Studying the sales trends for the last six months and providing a report -- slated to be completed by February 8.
I would like to discuss the following when we meet:
%u2022      My pending bonus for the current financial year.
%u2022      Vacation time and its adjustment with the notice period.
I would like to recommend a few team members for my position and would be happy to train and support my replacement.
Please let me know of a convenient time to meet and discuss the same.
Yours sincerely,

From rags to riches!!

I am working for a global corporation. I love my job. It pays me well and I love what I am doing. It is the best situation to be in. Recently, a new person joined my department. He just had some problem with me. I tried everything %u2013 from being friendly to him to ignoring him completely, but he would not budge. He just needed to make my life difficult. I came to know that he was talking behind my back and telling my colleagues and friends that I told bad things about them %u2013 things that I never said. Soon, there were enemies in my office. He was a favorite of my immediate boss and soon boss started ignoring me and sometimes even spoke rudely to me. I just did not know what to do or how to handle this situation. I tried talking to some of my friends in the office, and found out that he told them personal things against me. This was the appraisal time, and this politics of his could have costed me dear. After a lot of thinking, I decided to get outside help. I had seen ads of Pundit Maharaj many times, and he sounded credible to me. I spoke to him for a long time, when I called him first time. I felt as if I was talking to a friend, and I was not alone in the world. He told me the characteristics of this colleague of mine and even told me peculiar features of him, so I could identify my enemy. I was surprised at this, and my faith in Pundit Maharaj increased. I came to know last week, that this person has got a transfer in another department. He will be working from ano
