LAXMAN IS THE BEST TEST BATSMAN THAT INDIA HAS PRODUCED IN RECENT TIMES...THE SELCECTORS ARE BLIND EYED TOWARDS THIS GENIUS....HE HAS PROVED HIS MANTEL AGAINST ALL TEST PLAYING NATIONS...I THINK HE IS INDIAs BEST BET FOT TEST MATCHES
Century or no century should not even matter as Laxman is performing excellent and not bothered for records. Test centuries are a worry for Tandulkar indeed to maintain his top "centunarial" position. So lage raho Laxman with full steam. Cricketingly, RC YashRoy, Bareilly.
Hope he makes it big in this tour too... all he needs to do is that not to fish out side the off stump. Even in this match ... the ball took and edge and he was caught in the slips.....
There are only four slots in the middle order. Dravid and Tendulkar take two slots and we are left wioth two other slots. You can not drop Ganguly otherwise Dada's fan will be very angry. This means that Yuvraj and Lakshman have to compete for the same slot in the middle order. Both of them deserved to be in team but it is not possible as long as Ganguly is also in team. Ironically, Ganguly's fans claim that Ganguly brought Yuvraj in the team. The fact is that Yuvi got a regular slot in test team after Dravid became the captain. On merit, both Yuvi and Lakshman deserve a place in the team. However, it is not possible as long as Ganguly is in the team.

True buddy. You are absolutely right. Now the question is does Dravid got the guts to drop Ganguly?
Laxman has been doing very well in the test team. He deserves a permanant place. The fight should be between Yuvi and Saurav for the slot.

hello u people have forgotten the tour of SA who have scored more runs in texts.Don't under estimate anybody after his recall to the team he is playing the game with soul and body.All others have failed in SA including our captain except Ganguly.If we think one failure is end of our life we have no right to live in this world we have to compete with this world, and we have to show everybody that we r good.Hope u people will understand.

Guys...think about it, why can't India have both Ganguly and Laxman at the expense of Dhoni, since Karthik can keep wickets and also open the batting. The team could look like this:
Gambhir/Jaffer Karthik Dravid Tendulkar Ganguly Laxman Yuvraj Zaheer R P Singh Sreesanth Kumble

Has Dravid got the guts to drop yuvi who is just aspoilt brat who is in the team coz for Pawar to be BCCI head he needs PCA support and Yuvi's Dad is a fast friend with Bindra who is responsible for all the dirt in Indian cricket. We cant get a coach for the nation cricket team kind ofmanagement is this you dont even ask the person to be appointed as coach as to whether he will be joining, and you go to the media saying that coach has been selected what a disarray. May be BCCI should hire a CEO to make things more professional and may be Pawar should hire a campaigner rather than siding with Bindra and more over why is cricket so lucrative to politicians and businessman is it just cricket or the pulic needs to know more or Pawar's political futureis dim as he cantbe the CM of Maharastra anymore and he cant go beyond what he has achieved in politics.
