Dravid --worst captain a pathetic looser. When BCCI declared dhoni as vice captain..y Dravid did not support Yuvraj. I think he was too scared he will loose captaincy to Yuvraj sooner then later.
Dravid and chappel made Ganguly's return very difficult and tried to block in every possible way. Dravid also totaly forgot how Ganguly backed him when he was not considered suitable to one day internationals. Dravid made tendulkar bat lower down the order against tendulkar's wish to open the innings...the result we all know. Tendulkar a big success in 2003 and a big flop in 2007.
As long as we have Dravid as captain India has only one way to go........................DOWN.

BETA USME SE MAJORITY MATCHES SHARJAH MEIN JITE HAIN (between 1984-1993)....COMPARE THE STATISTICS W/O SHARJAH AND U WILL KNOW WHO IS BETTER....
DRAVID SUCKS BECAUSE UNDER DRAVIDS CAPTIANCY DHONI BECAME VISE-CAPTAIN THATS REALLY UNFAIR TO YUVRAJ HE SHOULD BE THE FIRST OF THE VISE CAPTAIN POST NOT DHONI YUVRAJ HAS WON ALOT MORE MATCHES THAN DHONI I AM NOT SAYING THAT DHONIIS A BAD PLAYER ALL I AM SAYING IS THAT YUVRAJ SHOULD BE VISE-CAPTAIN

We should keep in mind fueter while selecting captin . so why dravid why not yuvraj, dhoni or any young one , when there are so many other sioner players r playing . Why not take advantage and utilise there experience.

I am agree with you dude...Yuvraj have much ability and tacts than DHONI....if Dravid is missing a game then I dunt think Dhoni can manage himself as Captain....SO that India have two Options.....Either YUVRAJ or DRAVID.

who do u think is better batsmen yuvraj or dhoni and we need a batsmen that can be abusive to the paksitani on the field when they are playing and we do neeed a vise captian that can be agressive i dont mean to say that dhoni is a bad player but yuvraj plays better than dhoni
RE:RE:DRAVID SUCKS
by ravi on Jul 03, 2007 02:30 PM
u r right bcoz yuvi is the best choice for vc he is aplayer whichh score runs betn 30to 50 overs i.e resposable inning dhoni runs against bangla srilanka
these ramkings make no sense to me!!!...they are all fake!! in cricket rankings do not matter, past records do not matter!!only..performance on tht particular day counts...a quickfire 20 or 30 down the order in a stiff run chase is much more imp. thn a painstakingly slow century(like sachin).. its the crucial knocks in big matches tht makes an ordinary person a gr8 player...sadly sachin & sourav are lacking in these regards!! & thts y srikanth's 38 in WC'83 final is more remebered then sachin's cetury against kenya in league matches(WC'1999) or sourav's back to back hundred against kenya(wc'2003)!!!
RE:fake!!
by Krishna on Jul 03, 2007 01:55 PM
My friend, usually, a quickfire 20s and 30s are done by no 5 and no 6 batsmen. not the openers or 3 and 4. Their job is to give a solid start and consolidation and without loosing many wickets. So, ur comparison is unfair. Btw, Sachin and Saurav are remembered as one of the best opening pair in the history of ODIs. They have lot of partnerships and both play aggressively.

according to you and all other southie idiots, all non southies should be banned and indian cricket should be balaji, utthapa, dravid, sreesanth, etc etc.
RE:Regards Mohd Kaif
by pravin gawde on Jul 03, 2007 06:48 PM
India should make new team for south, we remember when south team win ranji somewre 5-6 year back that time 8-9 plyaers from south only.now forget players but bowling coch ,and God knows how many under pipeline?
Dhoni missed only first two matches and not first three matches as written in this article. He got out cheaply, and that effected his ranking. Article says for no mistake of his!

20/20 against ireland??? tht a news to me!!!! wn did it happen???...was the whole nation sleeping then?? oh my god!!!...the whole nation missed tht 20/20 match....only SATHYA was given the exclusive rights to watch tht 20/20 international!! idiot!!
RE:RE:Ajit Agarkar
by hemant chahar on Jul 03, 2007 11:19 AM
agrkar has proved a highly erratic bowler...he performs in 1 or 2 matches & then goes for runs in the nxt 4 matches!! though he has taken 280 wickets ...the rival batsmen do not respect him ...they treat him with disdain!!...& plus he has always been an expensive bowler...& an unreliable batsman!! the BOMBAY DUCK's inconsistency is the reason behind team india's inconsistent performance!! srisanth & R.P.singh are far more better bowlwrs then him...& if given a good run will become consistent too!!
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by raju on Jul 03, 2007 12:24 PM
ha ha ha..don't even compare RP with Agarkar. Has RP won a test match against a champion team? Has RP taken even 50 wkts in onedayers?
Plzzz...u guys will never reform...fans like u shld be thrown into Indian Ocean.
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by abhinav sharma on Jul 02, 2007 09:34 PM
hey raju may be you are right, may be general indian crick fan is an idiot but i would like to differ you in one aspect. Agarkar is a good oneday bowler but look for him in tests apart from that 6-wik haul against australia he has done virtually nothing in tests. And that is where Zaheer pips him up to 1st place among indian pace bowlers as he is more complete than Agarkar.
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by raju on Jul 02, 2007 10:03 PM
abhi, i was talking of him as a oneday bowler only. yes in tests he has been sketchy. but i still beleive he can come good in tests. tell me when has he been given a continous run of 3-4 tests on a trot? when he was given once, he produced magic by routing champion team australia with a 6-fer. i think he and zaheer can form a good and stable opening combination in both tests and onedayers. we should not keep rotating our bowlers around. we should have a stable pace attack. sreesanth can be a good 3rd seamer. what do u think?
RE:RE:Ajit Agarkar
by vamsikrishna sanagapally on Jul 02, 2007 11:40 PM
The problem with Agarkar is consistency..he is lucky that he gets so many chances but doesnt grab them. We could have given oppurtunities to other young fast bowlers
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by The Heat on Jul 03, 2007 12:40 AM
He's not consistent? He's taken wickets in almost every match he's played. Gimme names f 2 fast bowlers who if given the opportunity would do better than Agarkar. Also, don't forget the fact that Agarkar is oe of the best fielders in the Indian Team.
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by mohamed kall on Jul 03, 2007 10:01 AM
totally agree to that. he is a very good one day bowler and he is the best fielder in the outfields... he is simply criticised...for no reason... and to add to all that he is only bowler who crosses the 140K/hr mark.
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by raju on Jul 02, 2007 11:54 PM
what crap..he gets dropped even after performing well..and makes a comeback when others fail...that makes ppl like u who don't follow cricket closely think that he gets many chances
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by Girish Bartakke on Jul 03, 2007 12:35 AM
Agarkar is a very talented bowler. And he is excellent in ODIs. The only thing is, he does lot of experiments in one over. He is an underrated bowler despite having 279 wickets.
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by Web Monkey on Jul 02, 2007 09:50 PM
It is well acknowledged that Agarkar is not a test bowler. he is not considered for the test position in recent times. But he has been doing okay in one dayers. Unfortunately he gets all the criticisms! He is an okay one day bowler, we dont have anyone better than him at the moment.
Zahir is okay in both formats. It is not a question of who is india's best pace bowler. If Agarkar plays well in one dayers, he should be selected.

Agarkar needs Dada Saheb Phalke award. Great charecter but always short of p[otential with in himself.
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by Hiren Bhavsar on Jul 03, 2007 02:50 PM
I think a lot of critics dont even know that agarkar has taken 4 or more wkts more than 10 times in ODI's which is highest by any bowler in history...yes..even kumble, srinath and kapil dev...the legends with more matches or wkts..so now who is more consistant ?? and in modern days; if u look last 2-3 yrs or so he is more consistant in econ rate compared to lefty idiots like pathan, rp singh and zaheer khan who are only preferred bcoz of being lefty...Agarkar's style of bowling doesnt suit test matches in india and i wudnt pick him as 1 of 2 when we rely on spinners for wkts but he has always bowled well abroad when given a whole series to play in tests (2 tours of aus--both times highest wkts for a faster..only kumble got more last tour...he had 16 which was better than even any aussie bowler/....he also bowled great apart from tht 100 with bat in the series in england last tour) I dont like his batting...dont care if he bats at no.11 but he is an excellent fielder...after Kapil DEv the only fielder i hv seen committed and strong enough to throw a ball from boundary....look at the srinaht, prasad, zaheer, munaf, rp singh, pathan etc the whole long list couldnt field...SO give him a break all you so called pundits..get ur facts right..dont just criticize a mumbai player bcoz ur south indian or bengali and vice-versa...be a true indian...btw i m not from maharashtra..
RE:Ajit Agarkar
by raju on Jul 03, 2007 03:24 PM
Superbly said. mu ki baat cheen li. i am also not from maharashtra but a great agarkar fan. your point of him not given a continuous trot in tests is absloutely true. when he was given, he has performed better than others in aus, even in england in 2002, he was given 3 tests and he took the crucial wicket of in-form vaughan in both innings of headingley test that india won. he does not have the body to do well on flat tracks of india(u need height there to bowl on those placid tracks). but i think if given a greentop, he is the best among indian bowlers who knows how to exploit the pace and bounce of the pitch instead of spraying the ball all around. i hope he plays more tests in the future.

Agarkar is a good bowler. He takes wickets regularly but often is he is proven costly that is why people blame him. Nothing more
RE:RE:Ajit Agarkar
by raju on Jul 03, 2007 12:24 PM
from 2006 onwards, his ER is good. Around 4.0 which is great considering how expensive today's bowlers are. He has improved tremendously as a oneday bowler. Now his first spells are almost always good. Some crazy fans carry lost of "past baggage" with him.

by manish sharma on Jul 03, 2007 11:02 AM
no doubts.. he is gr8 bowler... u can see how he dismeesed kallis in last one dayer... even agarkar is not fit for that match also...but still gives his best
