about senior players
by venkatesh kumar on Jan 26, 2007 06:28 PM

yeah senior players as we considered 4. they are scahin, dravid, ganguly, kumble.this 4 players make a huge records and winning moments for the indian team.they also performing well in the odi series now also.for the entering of new players we can allow to play these 4 players till world cup.that must be a good idea to make a young talented players can enter in the team.as much as dravid is considered his batting is good and also have captaincy, ganguly reentered with a good form and saching who played 17 yrs wirh a grat form and kumble with outstanding bowling .

about ganguly(dadha)
by venkatesh kumar on Jan 26, 2007 06:20 PM

as much as ganguly is considered,he is fit to play odi and also tests, but i dont know why they dropped in the 3rd odi against wi.he performed well in the tests and also first odi .scored a high score 98 than any other batsman in the indian team as considered.so pleas dont make too much experiments with the indian team.as a senior player and also an experienced player, allow him to play the games.he is batting well.make the indian better by not taking senior players upto world cup.if doing so please take sachin and dravid too.because they are the two players who are not joined in the experiment side as we see changes in the team now.

about sachin
by venkatesh kumar on Jan 26, 2007 06:07 PM  | Hide replies

tomorrow while sachin not performing well then take him out for the next 2 odis.this may help to him to back with a great than presence and also hekp him for world cup.because i see it everyone is dropped for some odis but not sachin.even ganguly performed well in 1st odi and also dhoni.romesh pawar performed well in 2nd odi.atleast each player have to give chance for two odis to find their performance.but master blaster have given many chance for him.so final word is see the performance of sachin tomorrow and decide it.we know sachin is well performed here already.we hope it happen again tomorrow.

very right . y isn't sachin being dropped ? y do we always dwell on the past ? he WAS a great player , maybe he is still a great player , BUT his batting since the last couple of years leaves a lot to desire . A player of steve waugh's stature could be dropped because of his team's non-performance , then waht holds the selectors from dropping sachin . he is a pla eshadow of his former self . he was superb , but seems is on a downhill now . let him rest , let him find his old form again , then make him play . what's the problem in doing that ? saurav ganguly , zaheer khan r good examples of coming back after improving their game , y cant that happen to sachin ? y ? y ? y ? even to drop sehwag , it seemed as if the selectors were moving a mountain . thats not done , if we ever want to be anywhere even close to australia ... it really disheartens to see the way our selectors perform . sigh !!!

Some time back Englishment were doing wonders, specially the big man himself but now the complete team is very demotivated and it seems that Indian Team is required to get them back in form

Quite right dear i think england must think of playing against india before they play the WC to motivate themselves in the upcoming WC event, as Indian team always make the champions for other teams by playing against them and zero becomes a hero overnight. Right!!!!!

I agree to your views Jasdeep. Our team is "Motivation Lifter" for other teams.

jasdeep is right. this team just need motivation. dont forget before the last world cup we lost heavely to newzealanders. let me remind you too that we have beaten sri lanka by 7-1. it was the same team which breaks the world record of chasing and winning the matches for more than 17 times. players are same. just needed mental strength and aggressive strategy. they will be back telling you. in west indies conditions will suit india, srilanka. these two team must go to semifinals.

not like that england is doing well with any other teams as we considered but against aussies their batting lineup and bowling plays a significant role.have to make a 250 or above to win against them.because as batting is considered everyone is performing well by the aussies they take 50 runs atleast 3or 4 players as we seen lot.england team is bettre than other teams but not with australians.this is proved from the game they lost to australia now
