Its all planned.
by Abhay T on Jan 26, 2007 05:36 PM  | Hide replies

By the time, india enters the world cup, sehwag and pathan will be in. zaheer and ganguly are already included in the team. Its all planned, so that they have the same old team playing in the world cup. Betting guys know that these old chaps are much better manipulators of the game. Youngsters try to prove themselves and don't cooperate with betting agents. Those who cooperate survive lik sehwag. Those who don't disappear even when they are performing well. Why is india losing then? The same reason why india lost couple of series just before 2003 world cup. Simply, because they are treated as underdogs in the betting market. Why is sachin not playing? Because they have betting whether he makes 50 or not, whether he will be out in first 5 overs or not, whether he will make single digit runs or not, whether he will be out on DUCK.. Its all simple.. He just manipulates and cooperates the betting guys. In fact, entire Indian team does that. They win when you least expect and loose a match that you think they can easily win. Only Aussies don't cooperate with betting dons and that's why they justifiably behave arrogant and win almost all matches. Will India win world cup? Depends on betting guys and only if somebody else beats Australia in Semi-finals. Because betting agents are unable to manipulate aussies. So, Indian players feel defeated even before they enter the ground.

You don't need to be emotional because I included some of your favourites. There is no need to have a personal comment. I only sarcastically commented on inconsistent performance of Indian team over past decade - including the period under Dada's captaincy. If you see larger picture it is really ridiculous one. We have the potential, fire power everything required for a champion. But, still can't make it when it matters most.

Dude! its all part of the game. I can say for sure that there is no involvement of the betting guys after the captaincy was handed over to Sourav. Our guys are taking time to get into the rhythm. But this time I feel we are running out of time. Rather than seeing the runs they are scoring see how confident the shots are being played. This makes me more confident on the Men in Blue. There is a lot of difference in Sourva's way of batting. Before he been stripped from the team I can see fear in his face while batting. But now he is very confident and you can see clearly he worked on his batting and his batting stands also changed. This is happening with all the other guys; they are working; but I can't say that this time we can definitely get the cup but I am so sure that we guys wont dissapoint us. Hope & Confidence are the things you always have in hand before we go and achieve something.

Best of LUCK India

Both viru and sachin are good turners of the ball. If you keep them as bowlers they will not be having any psychological pressure as a batsman.
Their batting will automatically improve.
Sachin at no 10 just imagine. The opponent team will be out of their wits.
Tell Chappel and Dravid. They will immediately accept.

Its funny to see the batting order. I guess we can try this once. he he he. But kaif is OUT. he never have a chance even to get in final 15. I feel gambhir or uttapa can be a better choice for the opening slot along with sourav.

Sachin is the Greatest
by on Jan 26, 2007 12:32 PM  | Hide replies

Dont call yourself Indian, call yourself a Tendulkarian. One man who enhanced the value of cricketers and cricket in India. Only man who could resist an offer of Re.1 crore offered for televising his wedding. Man of impeccable, uncontroversial character. Be proud you r living in an era when Tendulkar the Great is living.

Sachin the greatest!
by on Jan 26, 2007 12:27 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin is the greatest cricketer in the world and every Indian must be proud of him. Very cool, non-controversial, matured and humble. Only human being who could say 'no' to an offer of Re.1 crore offerred to him for telecasting his wedding function. In Ravi Shastri's words, he single handedly enhanced the cricketers' value and took it to high pedestals. You cant do away with your mentor even if he ages since Tendulkar can infuse confidence he must be part of the team till 2011 WC

Is tendular the greatest, or tendulkar was the greatest. Dude, better keep him as the part of indian cricket till he dies...why only 2011 wc. y only tendulkar, lets bring his family in the team, wake up dude....if u c the records for tendular from 2003 onwards, u'll know that in the matches when he scores a hundred, india went on to loose the match, leave against WI, even if he makes century against zim, india lost that match..if u have doubts over this, check the match which was played in india against zim, in which D Marillier out classed every one, though that was a flike, but still india lost that match. tendulkarhas past his best, if i was the selector i would drop him for 2 series based upon his form, he shud go to ranji trophy, and play there, and if and only if he succeeds there, he shud be included, if we go by past records, then I think, sunil gavaskar shud play against WI, till he dies! tendulkar was a just a good player, he was never a match winner for india under any circumstances, he can't play with the tail-enders, like other greats such as ponting, lara, and inzimam play.

Mr. Rao, i think u don't have guts to accept the facts, if ganguly (the best captain), sehwag (the only tripple centurion from India), and pathan (a genuine all-rounder after Kapil) can be dropped b'coz they are not performing, y can't sachin be dropped for 2-3 series? haven't u seen the results with ganguly, he was dropped from the team for near about 15 months, and when he is back, he is performing a lot better, the same is the case with zaheer, so y can't v drop sachin based on his performance. try to accept the facts dude...

why the topic has been chhosen this one
by santosh singh on Jan 26, 2007 12:16 PM

tendulkar has 53 average against west indies. he has 4 centuries and around 10 fifty. so why the title of this article is "tendulkar has most duck against west indies". why not tendulkar has most centuries against west indies. this itself says biased mindset of ppl & media who just want to criticize him

lets compare it with another great lara. lara don't have any century against india's poor bowling. he has just 5 fifty.

if ppl have clear mindset that I have to criticize sachin then they can mend the fact in any way. lets take an example. in SA sachin and ganguly both scored two fifty. ppl are pouring laurels of praise to ganguly saying that he scored gusty fifty. whereas same ppl crticizing sachin saying that he couldn't even convert good start into century.

both ganguly and sachin were playing the test series after break. after shoulder injury SA test series was his first test series. he was also playing the test after 6 mth break. and ganguly missed only one test series in between (england series). so I can see ganguly and sachin both on same platform.. playing the series after long break. and both scored almost equal runs. and for the same performance ganguly is being prersented as nation hero whereas sachin as villain. this says the biased mindset of ppl.
