This is a fact the Sachin has lost the temprament and potential too. and i dont think now we should expect much from him now, as even he stated that his age doesn't allow him to play a high class now. so this is the right time for him to hang his boots and Shane Warne is the best example for him, even though Warne is on his hieghts of performance he called it on a day, Sachin should have a lesson from him

i am in total agreement with you.one need not spell cricket to know the difference between good and bad and downwright ugly performances.can one recollect 3 matchwinnig performances from him in the last 2 years. shows clearly hes lost it. there is no space for has beens in todays world. there are a blokes who keep expecting him to perform like the sachin of 98.he should gracefully quit and leave the one dayers to the young guys.

can you spell CRICKET? Shane Warne has retired because he has 'OTHER' interests.....which he cannot do when in limelight... HAHAHAHA...
dont you think you are ashamed to speak about sachin he is a master of class batting and remains dont ever let a word when hits everybody says he is god

which master class are you talkin about praveen? the one that makes him hit 20s or 30s just to ensure that commentators like shastri ramble "he was looking in good nick before one good delivery did him in". For heaven's sakes, it is only one delivery ALWAYS and for everyone that does them in... and batsmen in good form actually work out those 'one good delivery's. Sachin can't, now! He's got to go. Worst thing is that he doesn't show a trace of shame on his bad outings. He is latching on to his spot shamelessly. He used to be a demi god but has done enough to ensure that he is now even worse than the paki cricketers who retire and then come back ever so often.

Did everybody else play well in that match??? Why are you so cureal and pathetic guys ? Do you mean to say that Ganguly played because he scored 12 runs ???? First of all Do you watch cricket or do you know cricket well ? In the last match against west indies , he bowled very well as a regular bowler and the wickets he took were crucial .. DO NOT WRITE SOMETHING IRRELEVANT. Think before writing anything..

Ha ha ha..you urself is saying that he will prove it..that means he is yet to prove that he is a legend. We have been waiting for that 'ONE DAY' since 1998s. Sachin himself doubt his capabilities now a days. High time for him to focus on test cricket. He is blocking the way for young lad -Uthappa. May this world cup is his last chance in one-dayers, let see how does he want to kiss good-bye.

I agree. Sachin is out of Form since long. He should also be given the same treatment as Ganguly got. "Go back get runs and come back to the team if you have heart". You cant keep saying If, and Then. No one doubts capabilities. SACHIN WAS A LEGEND. But now he is only a sleeping lion. Its high time that sachin should be given a wakeup call.

This is not really the forum to discuss Sachin, but now that the topic has started, I can't resist adding my two bit to it. Sachin today is a struggling batsman. Let's face it. And that's not the bad news. The bad news is that he has been struggling ever since he came back from him tennis elbow injury and it doesn't look like if he will every be the destructive bastmen ever again because of the various injuries that he is carrying. He is in the team purely on reputation that he earned as an explosive cricketer that he was some years ago, a player that made the country stop and watch him. But alas, he is not even a pale shadow of what he used to be. He looks scared and worried about reputation every time he walks to the crease. And these days every time he gets out, he makes any average ball look like the toughest in the world which only he gets. Now this is where I get this feeling that he too knows that he might get the boot too. And I really wish he gets it and made to sit out for couple of matches. And yes, at the toss the captain should says that he has been 'dropped' and not 'rested'. This will send out a strong possitive signal to the rest of the team that this only the performers get to wear the indian colours. It's time to tell the king that there are chinks in his armour.

How come people are targetting Sachin so much , He did not perform as badly as Ganguly or Sehwag did. His performance is marginally poor. It is not that he has been written off. HOW COME PEOPLE IGNORE HIS BOWLING ABILITIES??

This is a joke. Sachin has been instrumental in the disintegration of Indian batting on many occasions in recent past. Sehwag has done badly and so did Ganguly. But they were dropped. Sachin as a pure batsman can't hold on to his place. He though is a very good fifth bowler and should do very well on the slow West Indies wickets. In fact he may be a better bet than Harbhajan.
