I do not respect Greg Chappel. It has nothing to do with me being a anti greg fanatic. I just do not like him. He has double standards and he does not refrain from using them time and again under the veil of being a man of principles.
SHowing the middle finger to the crowd in Kolkata without so much of an apology and a joke of an excuse that it was in fact a media distortion does not speak anything about his work ethics or principles.
Slapping ppl might not be the solution, but I would definitely slap someone if that person deserved it. It has nothing to do with him being a white or australian or whatever. Being the coach of India does not give him the authority to act as if he owns the world. He lacks attitude or has aplenty of wrong attitude and I think a slap is the face is the way to go for such people. I am happy.

Where were u stalwarts when this same Chappell showed his obsene finger to Calcutta fans. Why didn't u feel the same pain then as an Indian???...Where were you when Mr. greg, More & Dravid used every trick up there sleeve to ruin an ex Indian cricketer's career...where were you when aussie team pushed deliberately to Mr. Pawar..where were u..there is no end of it..so please don't cry for Indian culture..people like u, who have the habit of apologising at small pretext have already done a lot of damage to our image..

sad situation
by jayadev pradhan on Jan 24, 2007 04:09 AM  | Hide replies

A sad incident for Orissa. If the Kalinga Sena activists are so bothered about not having any Oriya players to the team, why dont they start coaching and send the Orissa cricket team to a Ranji Trophy final. How long has it been since we have been in the final ??? If you dont produce cricketers , whose fault is it ??? Chappell's ???

We can only guess how much security a normal man will be getting there...where are our law enforcers ???

I dont why my state is always in the news for the wrong reasons. Well, what is, is what it is...

MOST UNFORTUNATE & SHAMEFUL ACT
By : Rajeev Tiwari New Delhi

We are sorry sir Greg. Chappell is the guest of our nation. He is one of the greatest cricketers after Sir Don. It is really a shameful act as we Indians are known for our hospitality worldwide. Person who has done this must be given a capital punishment.

This is our Indian culture, we hypocrites
by P fernandes on Jan 23, 2007 03:01 PM

I hope we can call this racism or abuse of our hindu power. We believe in cticising others and want to gain sympathy to win at any cost by our innocent postures and baby crying faces and then cast aspersions on others saying British or non-Indians are racist. Now lets see how many people criticise this coward act of slapping personalities and how much punishment is given to this indu culprit
