The message from down under to India is - Save Your Sport !! In other words, every single person in India, irrespective of their remotest location from big cities, should be able to watch their favourite sport on free TV!
BCCI has to stop being absolute greedy body by selling telecast rights to the pay channels to earn more money. Not only the telecast rights, they should be very careful in imposing stupid tournaments on their players which are only aimed to make more money. The increasing workload definitely burn out the players and screw their performances.
Here in Australia, same thing was about to happen when people in this country got united and prevented the board from selling telecast rights to pay TV. Now we watch cricket, tennis, footy (AFL), football and golf on FREE TO AIR CHANNELS (Channel 7, 9, 10 and SBS).

Nimbus has got the right to telecast cricket matches in a bid where evry was free to contest. Why did Prasar bharti think of it then. In this world of competition it is not enough to play politics to become a top player it needs ,,it need to show focus. THIS will send a wrong signal to companies abt government monopoly and brings back memories of licence raj.
