Same old headline

It looks like Hussey has make it a habit to hog the headline in an Aussie victory. Whenever I see this kind of headline I cant help but think what's new.

So Hussey does it again, winning one more improbable and tough match for Australia. Haai, Hussey jaise koi nahin.....! Such Husseys, Shane Warnes, McGraths, Gilchrists, Pontings, Lees, Haydens, Langers, and Clarkes, have made the Aussies the world's greatest! Not to speak of the stalwarts of the recent past, like the Waughs and Taylors! After such consistent show it sounds ridiculous that we should have a World Cup Cricket tourney to determine who is the world's best?

Hats off Cricket Australia! You deserve to be up there right through this decade. It will be interesting to see how you handle the ageing problem. Sure you must be working on a solution already and will spring it up through the coming years?

M. Shankar.

The World cup is not to find who is the first - but to find the next teams.

In fact after first (Aussies), the next 3 spots are vacant, and other teams start only from number 5. Such is the awsome show of Ponting and Co.

Please start checking your article for silly errors before you post it on the web. People have high regard for this site and foolish errors like this takes a high toll of the site's reputation... This wasn%u2019t the case some time ago but off the late, there are all kinds of errors - spelling, grammatical, factual which only reflects ignorance and sloppiness on the part of Rediff journalists and editors. Please take care to stop this.
