ashok teli, you should say sorry bhai. Glen is a white and he may have more wickets but waqar has better average. Waqar took 50,100,200,300 wickets faster than anybody. He was exciting to watch. I'm a bowler and a batsman and have played for a clubs here. Waqar has always been my idol and even people here loved to watch his bowl. Remember he could bowl yorker, bouncer everything. Glen is the real kala kutta.
Glen is no Akram or waqar. He is too technical, there is no fire or explosion in his bowling. It was always exciting to watch akram or waqar bowl, they could do anything.
Glen just tends to keep bowling offside allday. Boring bowler but did well for this country. Glen always got tendulker out in big matches, tendulker was his bunny.

Mr. Shah Khan, Statistics shows who is better bowler. Comparing Glen(Sher) to Waqar(Kutta) is looks like joke. But I agree that Akram and Glem are equally comparable.
Its really sad to see silly errors in this website which of the late have increased significantly ("Lee miss Australia's..." in this article, wrong picture of the KBC's contestant and many more). We all know these mistakes are a result of lack of knowledge or talent but its a case of pure negligence and ignorance, something a reporting site like Rediff cant afford. Rediff, please dont make a fool of urself by making sure such things are avoided or at least reduced.
Why our rest policy is only for few player, we Indian cricket fans are not able to understand what will happen after 3-4 years when all the big icons will take retirement from game then who will take the charge is it shewag, yuvi, kaif, dhoni,pathan.......
