It seems SL is high on confidence, why not, when their talismanic cricket Jayasuriya is on high-form well supported by their youth talent Tharanga, followed by Sangakkara who is also in good form. Unlike last tour where SL lost the ODI series 6-1, their top & middle order is in good form which is important as ODI's are won by batsmans. But they are upping the tempo by resting their frontline strike bowlers & taking their next bench-strength bowlers to check their best bowling combination for World Cup. Looking back to the past one year, both teams have touched the extreme with SL back on winning ways after their last India-Series, whereas India is back to its unpredictable self-created scenario & low on confidence. I have a feeling that SL may win this series handsomely even after missing their frontline bowlers. This could be a last battle of onemanship between Jayasuriya & Tendulkar, where the former holds the lead as of now.
