Look at how he walks and how he speaks. Look at how he rushes to collect money for a dying blood cancer or liver transplant patient. He is a true leader. Just think how he hand picked the players, the newcomers and charged them into performers. Just remember the state of the Indian team when he was chosen captain. Just remember how he rescued the team from the clutch of the bookies and how he during his tenure allowed omly performers. He never wanted to promote the discarded or non performers from Bengal or East Zone. He never succumbed to any pressures. Perhaps that invited a lot of enemies for him. Saurav Ganguly is a perfect team man. Fine and positive observations by India's most successful cricket captain. His healthy and constructive outlook is what sets him apart from the cricketing greats of his era. Dear Chappel Sir experimented with our players as hapless guinea pigs in the hands of a mad biologist and destroyed the team hand picked by Ganguly. Snatched the job of leading from the born leader and handed to MY Goodness Gracious Skipper Sir. Look how his chin and face drops at failures and how he trembles on the field and before the press.

SOURAV is the best Captain India has ever had. Statistics shows that compared to other indian captains he had much much better performance as a cricketer. But due to evil mindset of Kiran More, Rahul Dravid, Greg Chappel he was been dropped.
You all frustrated Ganguly detractors or Dravid lovers it is really a very sorry situation that you people are in - looking so foolish and idiotic just like Chappel and Dravid today. Ganguly proved that he is not only a better captain (Dravid cannot be compared to his bootstaps even) but also a better player, stronger MAN and India's best bet today.
If any sense still prevails in you people and you love your country (more than your own state) stop bashing Ganguly and rather back him, he his the one and only one who can bring glory to our cricket and country. Forget about Dravid and Chappel the former is a Slave and the latter an irritable snob.

U R again wrong in comparing Dravid with Saurav.During Saurav's era all the present crop of senior players were young viz. Sachin,Dravid,Saurav Himself,Sehwag; plus they were in form.Now all the players are pale shadow of their past and surviving only due to their past record.Even if Saurav is made Captain of the present team it will not make any difference. why media is behind the players who is performing well and ask some wrong quetions..what is the need of asking about captaincy and changing his mind. Instead of these type of quetions, media should develop such quetions which will encourage them or else just leave as they are ..
It is very true that Ganguly is the best as captain than Dravid or Tendulker.Only he can make a difference even in present condition and in World Cup but at present it would be unfair to team India to change captain and also coach although they are incapable and for new captain also.In my opinion Dravid get chance and appointment of Chappel is a Himalayan Blunder for team india.He destroyed the team. At present we can do nothing except pray for India.

it is politicains and ganguly destroying ind cricket. dravid is eaually good captain and win 18 out 22 ods, won test in WI without ganguly and in SA. SA test won was dravi'ds brillant captaincy and 69 partnership with sachin and good bowling by kumble, sree. ganguly scored for 50 stayed not out taking singles at secong of every over and exposing teailender to sa fast bowlers. he played for himsefl atleast deniesh kartik played for team

why media/ political mps is giving full commentry of ganguly and about ganguly?/ there are other players who is perfroming better for team and country.ganguly is cheap III class politician oppertunist using media to get public attention and symptthy. ganguly is pretending in media that he in not in the race for captaincy. . trying to spoil the relations ship of dravid and sachin? What can you do if you are stabbed by the people whom you believe most? Does it not happen in real life too? Human beings are betrayed by human beings only, brothers, relatives, friends and sons. So what? These are the ways of the world. What really happened during this time would surely come out some day when these players and coach would be out of the scene. Do not blame Ganguly for selecting Chappel. It was Boards decision, may be supported by Ganguly. An action taken in good faith can not be called a blunder.
