How come its became a racist comment....first of all pakistani spectatrs started these things and second Gibbs comment abt the pakistanis to his team mate...accidently the mic was on and its was on air. Its an unlucky incident for Gibbs. If he would have comment to any pakistani players personnaly or to media than he would have been held guily but in this occasion I think that its too much for unlucky Gibbs. and moreover why ICC doesnt become so strict about sledgings which traget directly to playesr

Hey man , i think u are in their gov giving so much of details. coming to the point having this type of mentality will not do any benifit to indians and pakis , we have to resolve our issues by peace and not by treating the other one like u did.. its time to get mature and not talk like this. i am also an indian and what i think that we indians and pakis shud be together to get ourselves as developed nation lke china and get pass u.s.a as well.

Jitendra this is not the way to see a thing. This only escalates hatred. Hatred breeds counter hatred. Mind, all Pakistanis cannot be anti India. All Pakistanis are not terrorists. Whatever be their govenment's policies you cannot held all Pakistanies responsible for that. Do you support all the policies of the Indian government. If any policy of the Indian government affect any other nation in the world, can anybody from that nation make you responsible. Do not confuse between the governments and the society and the people, and do not confuse between the game and the war. Rather if the people to people and society to society relation is established or cemented, then oneday the governments will be compelled to improve their relationship which would hopefully end terrorism and violence someday. Mind it all Pakistanies are not responsible for all our miseries, there are other reasons too.
Just wondering when Gibbs has mentioned that he was targeting the particular section of crowd who abused Harris and not pakistanis as such..then y an action..what i heard ws that he said they are bloddy animals.. did he mention pakistani?
It is really unfortunate. A player of Gibbs stature should be tolerant and well composed. For how long this world will face such hatred, indifference to human feelings, bias, etc. Poor Zidane was a victim of similar provocation. Wake up people, we are in 21st century, children of Adam & Eve. Right Gibbs.

What has Nel done.Noone can punish for gestures. They have stump microphones and umpires on the field to judge that. And he has never abused.Telling a batsman he should have guts to bat and he'll get his next ball is not offensive or derogatory. And this is about gibbs so lets not deviate the topic.
Players like these should be banned for life from playing international cricket. Otherwise these players will never stop making racial slurs against asian cricketers.

I agree with you. This is really on theier part to comment such derogatory language. Specially Nel he is habitual to it. I really liked the way Srisanth opposed and reacted . He really slaped Nel. This is the way to deal with SA who think they are superior race.

If Miandad was not banned for making that monkey jump to immitate More in 1992 world cup why should u ban Gibbs. Because he insulted Muslims? What a bias in your comments man.
