Tendulkars form and fitness
by rakshith kumar on Jan 16, 2007 02:07 PM

I think its high time that Tendulkar been shown the door.He should also be taken into the team depending upon his form. His failure is always hushed up by a fitness problem.so why different yard sticks?

form and fitness

I had high regards for Vengsarkar when he was at his peak. Now seeing Sachin in the team and promoted as vice captain, I have started doubting his sincerity. He has proved he is a MumbaiKAR like TendulKAR by letting the useless Tendulkar in.

I have time and again said, Tendulkar exploited the emotions of innoncent and poor civilians like PavBhajiwalas and Chaiwalas by wasting their time watching his game and making them lose their bread earnings whereas as they lose their earnings, Tendulkar amassed wealth. This is at the cost of these innocent and ignorant poor civilans of India who spent hours and hours watching this useless guy play and fail.

Indian cricket has become a big racket guys. Welcome onboard Vengsarkar into this corrupt politics of today's Indian cricket.

team selection
by ARINDAM BAGCHI on Jan 13, 2007 11:21 AM

what is the logic in selecting Dhoni & Karthick in the same team in a domestic series? They could have been selected in rotation of 2 matches.

Uthappa is a good selection. Raina does not deserve a place as yet on his performance. One has to score runs to save them, so fielding should be the 2nd selection criteria. 1st should be bowling and batting.

ganguly should not be included in odi team
by sirish on Jan 12, 2007 09:43 AM  | Hide replies

he wasn't played well since one year in domestic cricket, even in SA he wasn't played confidently, there are many edges and lucky escapes, bcoz remaining players not scored runs thats why the a few runs made by ganguly is seem to be big.

Hey sirish,
You are absolutely speaking bullshit.YOu need to know that the circumstances under whichhe is playing is tremendous. Everytime he comes to bat will make a headline in the news paper.Still he showed courage and played well when others are showing poor form.He looked hungry for runs and that made other hungry for runs too.
It is because of him some of the players could make half century and centuries there.
Before making such an illogical comment just try to justify.

Whenever a comment is made about Ganguly, immedietly, there were personal abusive reply like this one. This shows Ganguly supporters in poor light, who support Ganguly based on emotions and not on merit. This happened previously also, when there were ugly comments about Dravid and Chappel. Other cricket players does not have such supporters. No, doubt Ganguly should be given a chance in one dayers after his decent show in SA, but considering long term interests we should look beyond Sourav and Tendulkar, because scoring 40 and 50 and poor running between skills, does not help to win against tough opposition.

U cricketing sensibility seems to be in your heels. If Dada doesnot deserve a place on his SA performance, can u say which other batsman deserve the same.

The runs made my DADA is not few..It was those runs made india to win the practice match and the first test match. His superb six in Ntini ball reveals his confidence..And he is top among the indian run scorers with average of 42.

Hey, friend, 1st test was won not just because of Ganguly but because of SREESANTH. That 60 odd runs would not have made any difference. The margin of victory is about 140.

I AGREE WITH SIRISH
