One should not forget the contribution of Sehwag in Indian Cricket. One year ago he was beating the Australian & Pakistani bowlers all over the ground. Every player has a lean patch. I remember many Indian in their career with such long patches. Sehwag is India's future. Main thing about his abilities is the fact that the bowlers world over don't want to see him in their front. If he clicks then everyone goes to find some shelter. HE WILL MAKE A STRONG COMEBACK. PLAY HIM IN THE MIDDLE ORDER (2 DOWN) & LET GANGULY OPEN.

I agree with you as Sehwag is one of the most feared batsmen when on song.We need an inform Sehwag at the top of the order like Jayasuriya,Gayle and Gilchrist.He did well in the one-dayers in the Carribean last year and there is no reason why he cannot do the same come the world cup.There is no better way of regaining confidence by playing local matches.One thing is to be noted, form is temporary , class is permanent and he has plenty of this.
Sehwag is a great prospect of indian cricket, every cricketer will have bad phase,when ganguly scored a half century against club level bowlers vs rest of SA every body started praising him,our ranji bowlers are far better than them,this is a timely knock,try appreciate good things,this century indicates he come back in to form, WELL DONE SEHWAG.
Scoring something in Ranji matches means nothing. He doesn't deserve any place in the Indian Team for any future international matches. We get carried away by these unimportant centuries and give a chance to these useless guys then once again India can expect to lose in international cricket.

You sound quite harsh when you say he doesn't deserve a place in the Indian team.We need a godd team for the world cup and this should ideally include an inform Sehwag as well as the likes of Sachin, Saurav,Laxman,Dravid,Yuvraj and Dhoni.They have been the nucleus of the team that kept winning until they reached the shores of the carribean.Fusion of new blood is fine but it should be phased out like in Australia.
Shewag is in the right place. His place is Ranji trophy, not the interantional arena. SRT shd be put in the right palce. See the good it has done to our good Saurav.... Not in form.. get ur form and come back...

The bottom line is that at international level he has been failing for past some time and it's high time that he gets dropped for his own good. See Zaheer for example, he was dropped and came back strongly. At int'l level players must be performing good at least 60% of the time.
