Put all money to another game
by Chandresh on Jan 09, 2007 05:36 PM

This is wastage of time and money for indian cricket team. So all money should go to another game. e.g. Football, tennis, etc.

Mr.Chappell..Queries for u....!!!!!!!!!!
by jagan on Jan 08, 2007 09:29 PM

Chappell pls. read the following question ans answer those:

1)Why Sewhag has been sent out to open innings in the second when karthik performed exceedinly well in the first?
2)Why munaf has been selected instead of Harbhajan eventhough the pitch is expected to assist spinners?
3)Why the tendulkar has not been brought back early in the second innigs?
4)Why u r blaming indian batsmen, blmae u r self coach... u r the reason behind for this disaster coach.. do u know what does that mean? the word called "Experimentation". When u took over as coach what u committed..did u remember? u told that u r going to take this indian team to new standard before this world cup....is this a standard my coach? now u r telling in the world cup, after semifinal... it will be a luck for any team....lost u r confidence my coach?i wonder whether this indian team can reach semifinal my coach??? just think over it, automatically u say good bye to this coach career...u better go and sit in commentry box, that is best suited job for u my coach!!!!

India lost due to Dravid and Sachin
by Ramesh on Jan 08, 2007 06:02 PM

India lost the series due to the batting ( or should i say non batting) of Sachin and Dravid on the 4th day of the final test.

Their batting reminded of Manoj Prabhakar and Nayan Mongia's batting during an one day match against Windies. They both were immediately dropped. Will the board drop Dravid and Sachin. They have taken their place for granted.

India looses series to SA
by Rajesh on Jan 08, 2007 03:52 PM

Dravid and Chappel are responsible for the poor show by India in SA.The team which took a 1st inn lead of 40+ lost its rhythm in the 2nd inn is just becus of the absurd decisions taken by the captain. Y he put Sehwag in the opening slot after successive failures of this opener?(they may say that they don't want to put Kaarthik in the opening slot after wicket keeping in SA Inn, but in international cricket, they have to)
Also, the successive failures of Sachin is due to his over defensive play. I don't think, he has lost his rhythm. Now also,he is the best player in the world. But, whenever, he is playing defensively, he is getting out. Had he played attacking cricket as in his spring time in the last game, the result would have been different. And, i don't want to comment about Dravid's batting. I hate to see his batting in TV (at the same time, I do agree that he is one of the best batsmen in the contemparory cricket.). Whenever, he is coming to the striker end, I would prefer to change the channel. only after that over, i'll get back, because, i know that not
even a single run would have been taken in that over.
As a Captain , he is an utter failure..

The Same Old Saga Continues...
by T.Satish on Jan 08, 2007 03:17 PM

Surely whenever we read a story book the first line would read as:Once upon a time...and the same liner applies to our team as such without any doubt. The team won the first test, beaten comprehensively in the second n then they come to a place where the pitch looked more suited to them than the proteas n still u loose the game. Thanks to the rain god n the supersoper not working which atleast made the match somewhat interesting as to whether the africans would get a chance to bat or not. They made a smart move by promoting the player of the series up the order to get quick runs and he did his job pretty well. The post series blames r not going to help us in anyway n its a solution thats required.Firstly its the attitude that must change. The players should me more aggressive n strive hard.ALso the captain needs to be more tactful n be show more aggression n thrist for victory. The planning also needs lot of thinking to be made. The batsmen went into shell once again after a marginal lead and that costed us the match n the series.A lot is required to be done in all departments and things r looking difficult for both coach n captain. The need of the hour:Prepare new talent n Repair old ones

India looses series to SA.
by ranjan sarkar on Jan 08, 2007 02:47 AM

Dravid is a captain without any brains and brauns. All he can give is a constipated look when the opposition takes on aggresive stance.

Tendulkar shivers at the mere hint of any difficulty.

Laxman is still so confused with his approach, whether to go front or back, falls over a delivery which takes his bails!!!!

Veru is a lost case... and so is Kumble. Imagine on a wicket resembling Indian pitch, on the 5th day, Kumble struggled big time. Niether did he have any idea where to bowl, nor did he have any control. Paul Harris was much better than him.

Jaffer is a 1 inning guy, cant blame him, he is a limited cricketer just like Kaif.

Munaf is history. That guy struggles to reach 119K while bowling...

The think tank (Dravid, coach and Tendulkar) are just not upto it... Tendulkar's captaincy is proof of his lack of inspirational capabilities, Dravid lacks imagination. Infact his decisions seems so stupid at times, one gets an impression if he ever knew the finer points of grey matter in cricket and coach lacks coherance.

God save team India

GURU DISOWNS AND THE INDIAN THINK TANK
by Faceless Spirit on Jan 07, 2007 09:59 PM

These people, Indian Think Tank!
Let the team dive and die in that tank.
These people, Indian Think Tank! God knows what they are made of!! Always trying to be unique!!! Still always biased. Failures after failures for the Nazafgarh King. Still he reigns.
Just a bad patch and you become impatient with Gangulys and Pathans. In crucial matches with conducive wickets Harbhajans are kept out!!!
Man concentrate on reasons called cricket.
Forget who nods with you all the time or says halo to you or not.
NOW THE GURU DISOWNS HIS OWN TEAM IN BAD TIME, JUST LIKE HIS CHELA SKIPPING TWO ONEDAYERS!!!
Goodness Gracious Skipper skips two one day matches for an injury which has not been diagnosed.
During the last one year we have seen some academicians and professors in the guise of cricketers and selectors. Experimenting with the players as guinea pigs in the hands of a mad biologist, preaching sermons and uttering non sense philosophies to cover their wrongs.
Who are you Indian Think Tank? Either calous or crooked to the backbone?
Answers may not be difficult to find.
