I would suggest Sony max to show some porn movies during the cricket breaks....it would improve the TRP ratings....rather that designing Mandira's clothes

dont worry cricket in india need not have such things... infact i can agree if you say telecasting of football matches, swimming, etc in india needs that. Moreover those interested in porn have abundant places to get it like internet, etc... My request for people like you is to close your eyes when you see Mandira during world cup or change the channel.. I hope you have a remote... Its simple ain't it ??
This unnecessary appendage is seen quite frequently in cricketing circles, always trying to catch attention not with her intellect, wit or cricketing knowledge but by exposing something else. Unintelligent use of female body is a pretty old technique resorted to by people to sell their poems, art, literature or even products. It is bad to repeat the technique in cricket telecasts where this diversion appears disturbing. Let her not be seen around. She serves no real purpose.
Dear Mandira you are well aware that indian lady always looks cute in full Ghaghara choli and sarri but it is regretted that some of indian like you blindly copying foreign culture. Please note that foreigners comes to india to see traditional indian culture which include traditional clothing. Regarding topless or small cloths or nude there are many of ladies are available in thier country.

These are modern Indian dresses... In the 1940's full ghaghara cholis were modern because the tradistional dresses at that time were without cholis... So we have to keep up with changing times like how our ancestors have always been... If you know about Businee management you should be aware of the necessity of "changes" in an organization to get maximum ouput and hence races ahead leaving behind those who stick with their old old systems to produce the same output. Hence changes are very very essential for a country to emerge especially for a new India. Start accepting newer concepts and ideas to march ahead of others.

Dear Jyothi, There is no harm in wearing western dress, But there is a harm, In a televised program like WCC match if a lady publicly exposes parts of her private parts.

yes this global village has seen the most RAPE cases because the temptation causes the man to do that crime & the temptation is caused due to this type of Nuduity.
RE:RE:RE:Mandira's dress
by Sweet on Feb 24, 2007 11:10 AM
This temptation was because of lack of these things... The more you supress the society the more rapes will happen... see in muslim countries - girls are supposed to even cover the faces... hence more rapes happen there inspite of strict laws against it... My humble request for all Indians is get used to seeing people like this so that you can do your job better instead of spending time wondering whats inside.

RE:Cricket Coverage OR Modeling ?
by Sweet on Feb 24, 2007 10:54 AM
Ask your aunty Sushma and great uncle Bal to sue Mandira for revealing what a woman's body could look like... I think its a top secret maintained by the Indian culture.. right ???
Cricket is a game and request the company not to use the flags on saree as it will create nuisance and controversy. Or get ready to come to court. Popularise the game not the body of Mandira. Please spare her she is now aunty.....

But I am sure K. Srikanth is wayyyyy better than Srinath's commentary or that fumbling Venkatesh Prasad.
RE:just watch !!!
by Sam beledona on Feb 24, 2007 10:01 AM
You are absolutely right the dullness of K srikkant is difficult for even mandiras smile to get of the screen. So mandira with Geoffery Boycott will be a good combination
RE:just watch !!!
by mahendran manoharan on Feb 24, 2007 11:13 AM
Friend it is better to watch other channels if you want to watch Mandira(s). I think K.Srikanth's commentary is too good for you to listen
