Odi batting average for dravid as captian is better than his normal one, won 1 out of 22 in first year and lost12 out 17, 3 win and team did not loose any odi series under dravid%u2019s captaincy but humiliated defeat in WI, SA but won in Pakistan. Dravid captancy is recongised by ICC for his success in 1 yr his name was shortlisted for ICC captain of year award along with vaghun, ponting, mahila also won cap for ICC test team captian. Ganguly won MOS after six years, wheile dravid won MOS, MOM (after being captain just within 8 months in WI without ganguly and tendulkar..Dravid won test matches in multan, WI, SA, proved he is classic captain like wadekar and kapildev Dravid supported youngersters like robin, KKD, Sreesant, raina, munaf the ganguly supported kaif, yuvi, herbajan, irfan.. When dravid supported Veeru for WC, he was dubbed as arrogant but ganguly support is praised as inspiring. Druing ganguly 's captaincy kumble and laxman were out odi team b'cuz of both weree not in good books of ganguly even after good performance. Victory was possible b%u2019ucz of other players contribution more than ganguly%u2019s leadership or his own performance. Ganguly was non perforoming captain last 2 years of his captaincy.
Media is overhyped the news of ganguly%u2019s return and and won MOS. Sachin won Mom and MOS against WI series, but there was hardly any noise. Even kumble and zahirkahn made come back after doing well in county media hardly mentioned about these 2 players.Even dhoni, yuvraj, dravid, robin batted well.
Ganguly always very aggressive, authorative and showed his dominance on field or infront of medi in his appproch as a captain, while dravid is cool, methodical and calculative ,defensive.. ganguly was accredited for team victory as a succesgfi; captian, while when team wom dravid%u2019s captaincy the victory was shared by all players. But after each defeat, dravid%u2019s captaincy was compared to ganguly%u2019s success, and many ppl / media criticised dravid and passed negative comments. other players were blamed. How much relevant is comparison of 16 months captaincy with 5 years ??? Even john and ganguly did not built the team in one year or not won all series. They also watched how the team reached WC final in 2003 and after that how the team was collapsed When dravid made captain team was ranked 8th I icc odi ranking and 2nd in Test, but now team is ranked 5th in odi and 4th in test ranking. Zahir khan and Anil kumble made a come back after performing well in county cricket without any media cheals, policians 's influence or not crying infront of media. Even laxman is out of team but he does not make any noise. Laxman and kaif should have included in WC team.munaf, sreeesant and bajji bowled well. dhoni did a good job behind wkts. and robin veeru, sachin dravid, ganguly dhoni scored runs. good bowling supported by good fielding. Team did wonderful job and played better cricket. Captain dravid managed resources very well. congratulations to skipper dravid and team india BEST OF LUCK TO WC

Write a poem how ganguly used dalmiay to stick to captiancy when dalmiya had bcci power and how ganguly gracefully backstabbed dalmiya as soon as he lost power and changed party. Write how thousands of ganguly fans humiliated dravid and team india during odi match against SA last year. Write poem how ganguly ditched dravid druing zim tour it was dravid who mediated between chappell and ganguly and write how ganguly published emiail in banglie newspaper

Why are you telling blatant lies? If Dada has fans among the politicians,it is not his fault. WHy did Pawar or Vengsarkars, if at all, listen to the politicians? Are they spineless? Do they listen to the politicians all the time? Are all players selected on politician's recommendations? The politicians did not hit the sixes or MOS tounament for him. Spread beyond your local limits dear Mr/Mrs Moom or Oop or whatever.

i think rediff (rather Prem) has created its own ID like suman and others just to throw some irrelavent trash on SG and thereby keeping people busy in browsing rediff
positive thinking is the thing today. India after having deafeted WI and SL soundly and squarely has every reason to believe that it can hold the world cup at carrebians. With Aussies having lost two successive series, every country has a chance to win. and india has a better chance because it has a very balanced side.

Are you talking abt the catch Ganguly took to dismiss Jayasuriya? Prem was right - it was not a difficult catch by any means. It was a straightforward one! You seem to be a Ganguly fanatic who hypes up anything and everything that Ganguly does!
Zahir can also great series and very good comback he deserved to be MOS But no section of media tv or paper are not making any noise DADA KI Vapsi is shown in almost all tv channels. Media biased.

Not really. The same media critisized during chappel-ganguly issue some time back. dada is certainly doing well. he has come out of ashes. and thats the reason they may be making so much of news. but in any case, i guess there is too much of useless debates and coverages on cricket in tv channels. it is an overkill and we will be bored after a while.
