Mr.L.Siva,commented that M.Bandara was not out LBW as Zaheer's ball pitched out side legstump but was going on to hit the stumps.He kept on repeating it....My rebuttal 1)So,if the ball pitches outside the line of stumps and goes on to hit the stumps,batsman is clean bowled but not out LBW...does not make sense. 2)How can any human being decide where the ball pitched at that speed,including commentator.we have the latest technology in last few yrs to see this on replays.... 3)LBW is leg before wicket and does not matter where it pitches as long as the leg/body comes before the wicket.. please don't let these joker's sit in the commentary box and destroy our genuine victories.

Don't get worked up. Srilankan commentator was sitting next to him. He already said he is unlucky. Siva just followed him. I agree with you on the aspect that it is difficult to know where the ball is pitched in split seconds. After all they don't have a green straight line drawn for them. And moreover they sit in real time.

Dear Kamdev: I know who you are. You are not from Bjarang Dal. You are one sick who may be Indian or Paki and needs urgent medical treatment.
The team composition should be one made keeping the WC in mind. I would rest Ganguly who has proven to be in fine nick and besides has guarenteed himself a spot as an opener. My 11 for the match would be as follows: 1.Sehwag 2.Utthappa 3.Yuvraj 4.Dravid 5.Dhoni 6.Karthik 7.Pathan (if he is fit) 8.Harbhajan 9.Zaheer Khan 10.Sreesanth (though he has already been ruledout,guarenteeing agarkar this spot) 11.Munaf Patel The idea would be to see if Sehwag can strike form, given recent form I would hate to drop Karthik for Sehwag in the middleorder in the WC (though it is going to happen bcos of veeru's bowling). If Sehwag can strike form(and he did show signs in the all too brief inningsin the last ODI) then Utthapa will need to bide his time at the topof the order. Playing Sreesanth will also giveus a chance to see if his performance in the 2nd ODI was aflash in the pan or if he has sorted out how to bowl on these wickets (prefer him as a bowler to Agarkar). Finally Pathan if he shows enough as a 5th bowler to be able to handle 5-7 overs then I think he guarantees himself a spot in the team. At this stage I see him more as a batsman who can bowl 5-6overs regularly ( a la Amarnath/Azad in WC of 83)than as a regular bowling option(and who knows maybe we get lucky and he rediscovers the form that not too long ago had him as our leading bowler- andmuch like aforementioned Amarnath/Azad end upbowling his full quota-canyou imagine howmuch that would help team India, 5 full time bowlers with part timers in Yuvi/sachin/Saurav and perhaps Sehwag to help out if any of the main bowlers aregettingsome stick).
My team to play tomorrow's match is: 1. GANGULY 2. UTHAPPA 3. SEHWAG 4. DRAVID 5. YUVRAJ 6. DHONI 7. PATHAN 8. AGARGAR 9. HARBHAJAN 10 ZAHEER 11. MUNAF
Sehwag has got another chance because of Sachin's missing. If he fails again in this match, we can use him at the time of drinks in WC and in Ranji matches after the WC. Pathan is likely to make entry in this match if he is 100% fit, if he fails, he might get some chances against weak teams in WC. Based on his performance it would be decided whether to carry drinks or play cricket.

Are you out of your mind. Zaheer is a fast bowler who is bowling consistenly well in the last few matches. And Karthik is a specialist batsman cum wicketkeeper. How could Karthik be a substitute for Zaheer?????
Our target should be WC not the series. Win or loss should not mater to the mental strenght of our players. Our intrest should be to have a good match practise and commitment in the field. Outcome of the tie should not matter us. Kaif will be missed in the WC. Viru must concentrate to get going. BEST OF LUCK BRING HOME THE CUP'07
