I think the core 8 players have proved themselves: Ganguly Sachin Dravid Dhoni Zaheer Munaf Agarkar Harbhajan Add to that: Uthappa, Yuvraj to strengthen batting. 11th player should be Pathan. He can bat anywhere from 3rd to 7th. I think he plays well with Sachin.
In reserve we have Sree & Kumble as bowlers, Karthik as wk/batsman, Sehwag as all rounder.
Pathan should share bowling with Sachin/Yuvraj/Ganguly. He shouldn't be given all 10 overs, unless he's got his grove back.

Ramesh despite what others have had to say i felt it was a good piece of humour and underneath there was some truth in it. Let Mr SEL KUMAR know to control his words.

India need to Make good use of power plays,bcoz India continously failing to do so in the series with WI and SL. Indian feilding getting poor in the absence of kaif , Raina and Gambhir. Gambhir is much better opener than Uthappa & Sehwag.

What is your problem? The way u bangalies sing ganguly saga.. u don't think other cricketers do not have fans or they don't play better cricket???
zaheer is great, he is india's top bowler. he not fluke, he is tall and in the past played well overseas. When Pathan comes back both of them will be india's top bowler for the next 7 years.
You can also tell that Sehwag is coming back to form, he will score big in this series. Kaif should also be in the team, he is much better batter and fielder than kartik. kartik has done nothing, one good match only

zahir bowled well and deserved to win MOM But he got 5 wkts for first time after playing almost 4 yrs int'l cricket. Irfan is best fast bowler and Srisant got 8 wkt in test in SA and won MOM
i dont understand why he is in team.first of all he should not be in team then also he is getting ample of chance .Dravid come on realise it now u should not rest batsmnan like uttapa its high time to say byeee byee to sehwag use bhi ganguly ka dose chahiye

I am not a Bengali but I respect Ganguly. "Ganguly's dose" was sheer politics...that dose was given as a back stabbing by Dravid to become captain. We all can see that Dravid is a lousy captain...arrogant, lacks drive, Chappel's puppet, etc. Dosing is fine, but should be done with fairness and consistency.

well go ahead and play without Dravid and see where the Indian team stands. As if you have seen everything that happened between Dravid/chappel and saurav. Just blindly dont give nasty comments.We also respect ganguly but please accept that he was way too disobedient and his fielding and athleticism hit an all time low when he was dropped. You are boasting that Ganguly is a successful captain. mind you if the players under a captain are not performing well, you cannot win a match. So the credit goes to the entire team and not just for Ganguly. Back stabbing to become a captain, did u see him do that or did Dravid/Saurav come and tell you. mate, your words arrogant, lacks drive, doesnt fit Dravid. It fits Ganguly.

It is not dravid but ganguly backstabbed dravid drung Zim tour. Dravid mediated between ganguly and chappell but after scoring a 100 ganguly vomited dressing room conflict infront of the media. Ganguly used dalmiay when he was power but backstabeed him when he lost power and also changed party Ganguly is arrogant cheap politician
