Symonds is back ,the aussies are back on track ,the sure favourites to win despite the recent loss.As a news paper reported Aussies are used to winning but when they lose they like lions left loose ready for the kill.

You so right dude ,I was going through the 2003 blogs when the Aussies trashed India in the finals and all the fans were so eaten up they kept saying Aussies India will trash you guys so bad you will be finished etc dam its 2007 and look where the Aussies are still on top and India way under. Its another cup on the mantel for sure for the Aussies they are fighters after a loss to england its bad news as they come beack even stronger.

Winning strategy

In india cricket means science of picking the right player who can perform impeccably only on the paper. We still live in dreams whereas cricket requires killer instinct to outclass and terrify the opponent in his every move by fierce onslaught. Have you ever seen such things in team india. If you have, than all the best.

no stuart clark! could have been a major asset on slow, pace lacking wickets. his superb form against the barmy army in the ashes should have earn him a place.

Harbhajan Singh
by desi abroad on Feb 13, 2007 02:28 PM

Well i dont promote as to Y Harbhajan was preferred over Romesh Powar, the mumbai Off breaker was more successful than more talented Bhajji. Last world cup, India did the same mistake by looking over Anil Kumble and preferring Bhajji who proved to be expensive .. team would have been better with a experience campainger in the middle order , though Dinesh Karthick proved everytime believe we shld have got a solid middle order batsman .... may be Rahul Dravid should lower order than coming at No.3 and let Sehwag / Tendulkar / or any blaster shld come at No. 3

no way for australia

This time the contenders are South Africa and Srilanka/India. Australians have peaked very early and will find it difficult this time around. They do not have the world beaters in their team now where as South Africa, Srilanka and India on their day can beat any team.

One loss and you think the aussies are done ,you dont forget they come back harder when they lose ,remember the ashes when they lost to england they came back and trashed them and now they gonna come back even stronger, they are a fighting team not whimps, as for India ,dream on.

They should have included Stuart Clark after his superb bowling performance against England in the Ashes series .

A bad selection criteria..indeed aussie is going to regret for not selecting the "clone" of glen magrath-STAURT CLARK.

It hardly matters as clark was damn good is ashes but was pathetic in CB one day series he gave nearly 6 RPO and dint pick many wickets harldy 1 or 2 in 5 matches. So they did rigth thing droping out of form player..which India should have done for shewag and pathan

Intresting! Stuart Clark is not included in the side! There most sucessful bowler in recent times. Agreed was much sucessful in test matches but still he deserves the place.
