My name is prabhat kumar pandey.I hope that Sourav will show well performence in this World cup.I much like Sourav's batting. He is a best player of Indian cricket team than others player.I pray to GOD,India will win this world cup.And Sourav will be announced best player of this tournament. GOD BLESS WITH SOURAV GANGULY.
His counter attacking skill is what has turned him into an all time great cricketer. He is undoubtedly a leader who relishes leading from the front be it as opener or captain. Our best wishes to Ganguly and his colleagues.

Yes, thats the man with the right attitude... He deserve even more than that and will achieve it soon.. I wish him all the best.. His best is yet to come...
The Indian think tank! I do not know who they comprise of exactly!! Apparently the experiments during the last one year has shaken the solid ediffice, built by Wright and Ganguly. 1. Removal of Ganguly from captaincy and side was a blunder particularly when the bad patch of the legend was showing signs of recovery. 2. A mediocre cricketer used to jump too much for making appeals disproportionate to the number of dismissals caused by him, removed Saurav. 3. A man passing the Secondary examination in third division becomes the examiner of a national scholar! 4. A bowler was made to open the innings and was advised to concentrate on batting instead of bowling. 5. An young and enthusiastic good player of club cricket level was carried along and nurtured with the hope that he would be a replacement for Ganguly. 6. Give this club cricketer one thousand chances and his average would not improve beyond 20. 7. Some good players were put under threat and coercion- perform or perish, thereby reducing their confidence level to the rock bottom. 8. By giving of and on chance to the old war horses and some new comers, nothing ultimately clicked. 9. A bunch of scattered individuals are placed in the hands of an uncertain leader who is thinking too many things at a time and lacking in conviction himself. 10. I do not know how many more blunders would be committed by the think tank before or during the world cup. 11. I can only suggest that Vengsarkar is the only person whom the team can look forward to for directions off the field. 12. On the field decisions should be collective and taken after consultation between the trio Sachin-Dravid-Ganguly. 13. Chappel should concentrate on advising the players on cricketing shots, running between the wickets, batting and bowling grips and so on. 14.Changing Rahul's captaincy is neither possible nor necessary at this stage but he should not be obstinate and he must consult Saurav and Sachin on the field all the time. 15. Anyone by any chance close to the dressing room or whatever may pass on the tips to the persons concerned, I have no access to any. 16. Let us hope for the best anyway.

I always admire the way you put your words Indra. But, I am late at seeing your messages, because I'm based in UK and am running 330 minutes after you. I quite like the way you described our 'mediocre cricketer who used to jump too much for making appeals disproportionate to the number of dismissals caused by him'...........I can just visualize the scene and keep laughing over and over......do you remember someone copying his gestures on the field? Best wishes!

Miandad I suppose. Best wishes, Samrat. See my posts on other headings of rediff cricket. Remember you and look for your posts as well. Thanks.
You are in very strong positon.... Still u loss against weekest bowling, No Murali,No Vyas.
As usual wherever u send me, i will come with not more than 10 mins of play is the answer from Sehwag. R Uthappa, is going to be another Sehwag, plays once in a bluemoon.
Is it INDIAN team or Zimbabwe?? Last match against SL reminded me of typical INDIAN performance over the years..We say SACHIN, DRAVID, GANDULY are best in the world but where is the finishing touch?? Even AUS tailenders or PAKI tailenders can finish this kind of match quite easily..hope you all agree?? But why can't our so called STARS & all ime GREATS?? Do they deserve respect on cricketing grounds? Do they have mental strength to perform in crunch situation??
How can you lose winning match so easily and tamely?
This list of question needs to be asked to INDIAN wall Mr. Dravid, SACHIN and INDIAN DADA CGANGULY..now people will say why only this 3?? My answer is responsibility lies on captain senior players and there is no excuse!!
Also, after so much fuss about Sehwaq he is picked for WC..people rate Uthappa as good opener..Has he performed enough to justify his selection??
INDIAN selection is biased 50%-50%..half based on merit and half based on recommendation (Chitthi)!!
And INDIA is not going to do better with this team they miss true legends!

So whoever has to make a comment on Dravids captaincy has to be a captain of India or has to become captain of India in future. Arent u ashamed of your dumb answer.
No doubt Saurav is one of the greatest heaters of ball, especially to spinners. If one wants to know how to loose match from a winning position, keep yesterdays match VCD with you.
dhoney have enough power to hit six any ball.but his mind was not set.If he take time of one ball and hit on last ball we sure won and he made miyadad of india also.

dhoni not responsible.it is only karthik who is creating pressure on dhoni not to play his normal game

no dhoni is responcible for rajkot match. he should either take care of his hair or batting skills.

Hello, Why to wait till the last over..What about Sachin how many balls did he take to complete his fifty plus score...especially during powerplay sessions..
I have a very bad feeling..possibly our chances in the WC are very bleak..for most of the tem members lack the killer instinct, consistency and willingness to play...Well if the selctors are happy..then some them have always taken their berth in the team for granted..

hi satish,
3rd power play option was not taken by jayawardene... so after 15 overs..the runrate is getting slow... bcos of not many boundaries.. sachin and ganguly played bit slow to stay at crease.. after sachin was out the next over they took 3rd powerplay..

Hi afsar,.. Hope you did not get it..Sachin was there in earlier sessions..what happened then..they have to hit quite often as during the later part the ball was not expected to come upto them..Simply staying at the crease and playing for one's fifty is not expected at that stage..
Just read things properly before you write.. Best Satish
