yes ob course they must know what they are doing that you can see from lost few matches they were bating first but suddenly they choosed to bowl first that what done in wrong and all geneious players failed to perform. you can see there DHONI and KARTHIK have played very well in middle but our luck gone by UMPIRE that he given wrong decesion againest KARTHIK and also our captain failed to instruct our batsman to hit before 45 overs
guys..look. the batsman make a mistake as a team and go unpunished..we suffer as fans..but as a businessman, when i make a mistake ( and i've made the biggest one 12 months ago)..basically i get punished! so why not the team and certain players? sehwag got dropped only to be brought back in..why? sachin and ganguly didnt finish their job..why? well, if u are self employes..u'll know what im talking about!
ok..the overweight nri boy..sachin's lookalike , would have won the match for us!! he doesnt care about knocking on doors and claiming he's their double..the guts..and he's got plenty ( aswell as fat)..makes him positive..we need him in the world cup squad..and he's mum could cook for the fast bowlers..they are bound to put weight on!!

Anil reputation with srilank is always bad. that is because they play very well against spinners. There are other team such as england, Australia, SA, West Indies, NZ, Anil can be very effective and dangerous. India must use him effectively. I don't think it is good idea to ignore him. But, i would advice him to retrie from oneday after world cup.
Dravid is one of the best batsmen but is he a shrewd captain?. Let me not answer. The team selection and the playing eleven are captain's role. But he has to consult for participative games. Dravid and Chappel have been little STUBBORN about team selection. Read somewhere Ricky Ponting wants an eleven that is having a player good in two areas, bat, bowl and field. Lot of our players are not even good in one. Why should we send our Indian Cricket team to represent us , if the mandate of the people is not going to be sought. Lets say BCCI XI rather than Indian XI.
I had a lot of respect for Rahul Dravid. Two instances have soured that feeling. His uncharacteristic and uncharitable outburst against Mr Chetan Desai and his poor reading of the game at Rajkot. It is a pity, till today he doesn't know the game was lost on the 46th over of Srilanka innings when he failed to bring in Munaf Patel. He bowled Munaf one over short. He would have saved us 6-8 runs ot of Kumble's over of 16 runs. No captain in the world would underbowl ihs key bowler. Pity, he doesn't know this error. Dev

With Rahul being the Captain we cannot expect more than that.We can expect something if the captain himself is aggressive like Ganguly

Dravid is very good as captain, he is best bet to win the world cup, look at the statistics he averages more than Gangulay and Tendulkar in worldcup.Gaguly never won any major tournment/ series while he was captain.he lost 20 finals during his period, don't forget about that.Dravid won the west indies series single handedly with out sachin and sourav.Its not sachin or sourav who win matches for india, its always dravid, if he scores india wins he doesn't india loose. Dravid is match winner always.Sourav and sachin plays selfish game alwyas.yesterday game is perfect example after scoring fifties they loose their wickets for loose shots,they never bothered to carry till end.they should learn for sangakarra see how he carried his bat till end.

y didnt Dravid sent in a Man to ask Dhoni and Karthik to speed up the things with 50 balls to go....when he knew He has fought for worthy Sehwag who already left and Kumble Sreesanth and Munaf to come in who cant even take a single....
Being himself in Top order How can he say that...!!! u need Ganguly or Tendulkar to carrythrough in all matches what are all ur 7 batsman meant for then including himself... If the world cups were not so close then Dravid wouldhave been an eligible player to be dropped.
And please understand in ODIs its not 6 5 u need 3-4 utility players also, Bowlers who cant take wickets by their own virtue and not even stand at the batting crease are good for tests only
Dravid saying that the top order should keep there wickets is a pity joke . With 40 runs needed of 60 balls and having 5 wickets in hand .. Is the match not set for India to win the match ..Does it require the top order to stay there , or the middle order to carry on ..
Poor dravid , learn man .. U are also in the top order only . Dont say this sort of words when Ganguly and Sachin played well ..
