BCCI and the players association should be gracious enough to lend 10% of their match fees towards the family of the cop who passed away!

what does the last line imply? Completely unnecessary point. I don't think its necessary to get some newsitem out of someone's/some family's personal grief.

BCCI and the players association should be gracious enough to lend 10% of their match fees towards the family of the cop who passed away! Even though its a pittance for them, it will go a long way for the family, as he dies on duty at the cricket ground!
