Hi man, just think about the second innings scenerio when bengal was 334/5 and the turget was not looking impossible.zaheer made it impossible for them although mumbaians will not be liking to confess it.claiming wicket of ganguly in both the innings is not a matter of joke (considering dada's present form )

Hi Chakraborty dada, Zaheer is already one of the best bowler of India. Taking dada wicket is not a big deal for him as he already got wickets of many west indians. In recent time also dada is not in his old form and have to prove himself in srilankan series to be selected for world cup

Mumbai without Zaheer.. !!

Would they have been able to beat Bengal if they did'nt have Zaheer.. ?? Is it fair to cap a new player from some other team just before the Final.. ?? Sachin is a legend beyond anyone's recognition, for him this was another practice match but should the efforts of Jaffer go unappreciated..?? Too many questions Mr. Mazumdar & to think this win was special.. !!

Why don't you losers understand that it was not only sachins contribution with the Bat, but also mentoring on the field thats what Muzumdar is talking about. It is very tough to beat a team with Saurav on the other side peaking on form. Zahir did his job and so did Jaffer, but I am sure Sachin would have got the job done anyways. Thats what Muzumdar is trying to say.
Sachin is a complete player and not only a batsmen, He bowls like a champ when the bowling doesn't click, turns the ball like Warnie at times. As well mentors the young guns. We Bombayites have humulitated all the teams all the years and still you people don't understand. This is the first time there is a player from Baroda playing for Mumbai. Who asked him to come and play here. Mumbai doesn't beg for player like Zaheer who was out on bench for almost one year for non-performance. But we give a chance and make them champions. Thats why people dream about playing for mumbai. Mumbai has won Ranji even with a second grade side time some times when most of the players (upto 7-8) were touring. Agreed this time the team is a bit weaker. So get over it and accept that Mumbai is the Champ.

Mr. Sandip.. "Mazumdar".. I agree with what you say about Sachin & as I said he is a genius not just because he is a great batsman but because of his allround skills & a cricketing brain as well but dont talk such shit about Zaheer.. !! Mumbai is an opportunist & looking to what Zaheer did in South africa grabbed him with both hands.. !! If Mumbai gives a chance to newcomers then Zaheer would've started his career as a Bombayite instead he had to look towards Baroda. Mumbai cricket is full of politics & you reckon this current team without the senior players could've done the job..?? Isey koi le jaao, yaar.. !!

Always a win depends on the best and expereinced warrier. That's why Tendulkar was appreciated.

Dear Mr. Parikh...check your information before your talk on public forum. Zaheer is originally from Mumbai...he was in the Mumbai team a decade ago, but since it is a known fact that getting into the Indian team is easier than playing for Mumbai, he left for Baroda. So did Sanjay Bandar, Rohan Gavaskar, Hrishikesh Kanitkar, Rajesh Pawar etc. (to name a few of the many dozens)...he signed for Mumbai at the end of last season and was going to play for them until his sudden recall to the national team...check your information please and don't indulge in yellow journalism. Face it - champions are never liked by the public. They envy their success, and Mumbai is one of the most successful professional teams on the planet!

Mr. Maumdaar, Why forget zaheer's effort?!? I don't say that sachin's innings were not important... but just that he was not the only one who did it..zaffer too played superbly!

For a win effort and moral boostup both are equally important. Tendulkar was appriciated because he made good effort and morally supported the team mates to win the match
