He is a hard hitting batsman,a very good off cutter,fields like a tiger, really a boon to Australian Cricket team. Credit goes to him for the last world cup won by us. I remember against pakistan he came fifth or sixth down and hit a century.Pakistan was flabbergasted otherwise they would have won that match and equation would have been changed.Symond was the difference between triumph and defeat.He is the man without ego.Always cool,respects others a person with tremendous temperament. Hats off to him. May God help him in recovery so that we can watch him in action again during the world cup. I wish him all the best and quick recovery.
That would be a sad omission.. He is an excellent cricketer both with the bat and the ball. Australians will have a tough time without such a quality all-rounder.

..it's sad that symond won't be a part of Australian team . it will give Australia somthing to say after they lose to India in final of the world cup ..Ricky ponting saying ..we lost the game bcoz symonds was not there ..

The Aussies never whine if they lose (tats once a blue moon) and if Symonds is out they will have some one stronger to fill in ,for sure the world cup champs 2007
