Tendulkar batted twice today.

Sachin was clearly caught at 2nd slip by Manoj Tewari off Dinda when he was in his 20s. He did not walk and the 3rd umpire astonishingly cheated and gave him a 2nd chance to bat.
Sad to see the genius not walking when TV replays clearly showed that he was neatly taken by Tewari.

Sachin knew that he had to perform in front of his home audience otherwise it could have been the second consecutive ocassion wherein he would have been booed by the crowds while returning back to the pavilion..Anyways, it show how desperate Sachin is to get some runs and prove to the people in India that he is back to his original best...Shame on you Sachin. There is always a second chance for you as there is something called as the second innings in test cricket..At a time when many of the children adore you as a idol to look forward to, you have set the most wrong example possible.....

all are praising sachin like anything, but is anybody have an idea of in how many matches sachin brought victory to india by chasing totals , i think difference is here, i dont think just the no of runs scored makes a batsman great.one should have the ability to bat till the end of the match under tight situations .tendulkar was unsuccesful in that save a tournament in sharjah , when azhar was the captain.i do not remember sachin playing a big innings in any of finals, especially batting second.

hey man remember one thing final match is not every thing to reach the finals thats also matter and the topic that Sachin never get succes when indian nteam needs that some should stand on crease so this is also true that india team wants somebody only on crease when Sachin gets out otherwise wether india lost five wickets on just five runs and if Sachin is on crease all world always say no problem man Sachin is here.

But what is the use of having played in so many World Cups when you cannot win the cup for the country?? Maximum runs in a tournament do matter when u go on to win the cup..Even if u do score a little less in the tournament,w hat matter in the end is whether your team wins the tournament or not..India has never been able to do whenever Sachin has played..So, what really is the use?? Basically creating records that cannot be emulated by anyone in life...What do u have to say buddy???

I think we need to give bat to you guys and to see how well you perform. Did u know any one batsman or one bowler win world cup single handedly for a team(without others support)? If you want to win a world cup all 11 members have to perform. Only Sachin can't win world cup for your team. If that can happen why sending 11 players just send Sachin. But make sure he gets 11 chances then see what he can do!!!
All rubbish talk.

I really accept this point. Actually it's a game to be played by 11 players not by one individual. I accept that Sachin throws away the wicket when it matters especially during crucial matches like finals, but it's matter on that day when you expect only him to bat and win the match whereas the other 10 players are not being considered whether they throw away their wickets....

There has been no player in the history who has won the world cup single handedly and will never be the case. People like u dont have any brains to understand and u can only criticize bcos u urself must have been a failure althrough life and u are jealous of others success.

Mumbai 281-5 (Jaffer 112, Tendulkar 105, Bose 2-56, Lahiri 2-69). Rohit Sharma and Abhishek Nair are at the crease. One correction- rediff mentions Lahiri as a paceman, he is actually an off-spinner. Rediff should get its facts correct.

very well said dude... he's on a fluke ride at the moment... its only a matter of time before u start seeing series of ducks from him... when his fans can keep talking about these centuries for the next 2 years.. with the WI century, wat he has effectively done is to cement his team in the place in spite of his shortcomings
