England finally beats Australia

It was getting tooo boring to see the Aussies win all the time... While I think it is a ploy from the aussies, it is still good for them. They have this gift of bouncing back after a loss... so, NZ or England watch out for the aussies in the finals cos they will just go for the kill... I love the aussie team :-)

there is very little doubt that the aussies badly wanted england to win. The present Englsih team i think i sweaker than Bangala desh and nobody knows it better than the Aussies. hence this trick

England beat Aussies

Australia have done it many times in the past. They are established masters of gamesmanship and foul play. Leave out Gilly and it is a team full of abominable characters.
But they are extremely focussed and would do anything to win. Hence they are so successful.
If you want to beat Aussies, you have to do it in your own style. But I believe the decade old domination of World Cricket by Aussies is going to come to an end with the WC-07.
The invincibles will become ordinary by the ned of World Cup. The arrogance will give way to worry. All this is because they will be playing without Warne and Mc Grath. Every time they have done so over an extended period, Aussies have lost.
They also had great amount of luck with Umpiring and Refreeing. An enormous amount of hard work and brain-storming has gone into building this team. But also an extra-ordinary amount of luck and favor from Umpires.
Just look at the following instances:
1] Sydney 2003/04: Steve 'Blind' Buckner's patently biased Umpiring saved Australia from a certain defeat.
2] Chennai-05: Umpiring, unseasonal rain and poor infrastructure robbed India a certain win on final day.
3] The same series saw Indians getting an astonishing amount of poor decisions. Sehwag, our best batter in the series was the worst hit.
4] But all this started at the WC-99. The dubious Hansie Cronje catch of his boot was the turning point of the WC-99 and not the Dropped catch of Steve Waugh.
5] This actually was the turning point of this Aussie revival.
But the "luck stops here" in 2007. This will be the World Cup of Sub-Continental Teams.
Mark my words.

Is there more than what meets the eye ?

Hopefully, this should not be an Australian ploy to let England come into the finals. Who would not want an easy opponent ?
