im really surprised tht y all these guys r saying tht sachin is not in his best form..just look at his perfoemance guys...the last five tournament he has played... 1. odi series against westindies, 2. iic world cup, 3. test series against bangladesh, 4. odi series against south africa, 5. test series against engalnd.
out of these 5 series he was MAN OF THE SERIES IN THREE.... 1. AGAINST WEST INDIES 2.AGAINST BANGLADESH 3. AGAINST S.A... and these people r saying tht sachin is not in his best form... why??????????? that article is nothing but just a frustration of a looser....
I have read about 10 different blogs right now, where the analogy between the software Industry and Cricket has been brought up. You know speaking of analogies, you guys need to get into your head, that other business models to exist. Here, just to humour you I will make a counter point, ever heard of paid social workers, almost all of them do. So they do make money and they have every right of saying that they are doing service to the society. The author has made a long verbose and repetitive argument. Which can be disected. However I sense that people are sitting on two sides of the fence on this issue and no matter what we write, none of us have the humility to change our opnion. So just one point: Your keyboard typing never inspired anybody, Sachin's batting has. Sachin's batting has nothing to do with Science or Creative artists, however many of them take inspiration from his passion. Innings like those played in Sarjah or against Kenya in worldcup 1999 dont come without something more than a sense of job. Yes!!! hes is no more what he used to be, but he is still good enough to get selected on pure merit. Pure and unadulturated merit. Let's debate this if you want to.
While the same argument fits for everyone, why everyone (inluding the author of this article) gives bullshit ONLY on Sachin? Chinna pullathanamaalla irukku.. :)
A very 'correct' article written without being too emotional about the sport with all the realities. Regarding the lowering of Sachin's class, it's clearly visible to everyone. He isn't that bad,just that he was the number 1 batsman till 2003,and was praised by all former cricketers including the great Sir Don Bradman.He has dropped from 'the best' to 'good' category,atleast for now. Now the Indian team is not much affected if Tendulkar or any senior player is not available,even if 2 seniors are not there I just hope Sachin proves everyone wrong regarding the lowering of his batting class/standard,if he is selected again
If you say Sachin is not playing for India and he is just an employe like you and me but for BCCI, then who the hell you and others are to question his play? How can any body other than his employer BCCI, criticize him?
Will it be fair if i come and criticize you that the quality of your work is poor?

Hello last time i know India is a free country! He is only criticizing the worshippers like you. Chill out. Even though i would have liked Sriram to go into realities like how Tendulkar sucked in the last 4 years of his Test career and let India down so many times.
Nice lesson for BCCI, fans. We would have seen another pointless ODI 100 by Sachin in a match that is not taken seriously by anyone and gloating on the front page "i know my batting". He should be picked only for matches that have zero pressure.
There is No powerful information in this article even this article holds less number of characters than number of runs scored by Sachin. Author is saying that "Sachin is getting paid for his batting", then what about the others? Why there is only one sachin tendulkar? forget india, even other national cricket association pays their player?...why they are not as great as sachin?

sachin is put on the throne for his earlier years.at that time he really was the only one.now he really sucks playing only against minnows he is a complete waste now goodbye to him he has already earned much
hey!!..why the hell are you guys after sachin..as if he is the worst player in our team right now..i partly agree that he is no longer the player he used to be but he is one of the best in our current team..and why the hell did u quote that he is playing cricket to make money...mr.writer plz note that no one starts playing cricket to earn money...its their passion for the game...and what do u say about the period between 1989-1992 when sachin is just a mere team member..is he paid lakhs then...was he paid lakhs before getting his first test hundred...!!...brother...u have good creative writing skills..but GET WELL SOON!!

I dont even understand how your article was actually released!...what are you saying.... so if a person is hit on the helmet then he doesnt know how to play????.... let me tell you onething.... can you tell one thing in india which is one of the best in the world?... yeah there are some... but sachin... he is a great product of india!... sachin you think is playing for money and not for the country?? then what about the innings he played agianst pakistan with that back injury?? he was in absolute pain but still he wanted to play... he could have gone and retired at that time... he would have still got the bcci contract and still be plaing all the matches... but what made him play with that pain... just patriotism... please rediff dont let such authors spoil the national treasusres we have. of course if your idea was to get more people read this article... that is cheap!!
