Shocking it is ! that coach Sharma has to confirm himself that he makes Veeru do bat atleast 1 hr everyday. That clearly indicates that Nawab of Najafgharh is still not willing to toil hard in the field for his comeback.I mean a person when is disgraced either goes into high drive to prove his mantle or he looses all hopes and wants his luck to play the part. Veeru has to toil hard unless some inside contact in sports ministry or somebody in BCCI has already assured him a place in team.Otherwise with his present form which I have personally seen in Ranji matches his body language clearly indicates the ego and proud & remorse only no humble dedicated approach to the game for improvement. His coetrie of chamchas around him feel that its Greig Chapell responsible for his exit not his useless game. I feel there is no time now for him to look towards sky for help he must get on in the field and work hard on his shortcomings to get his place back which has become more or less gone with Uthappa playing brillantly.

Ohhhhh!!!!!
what a great findings in the passage "Sharma ensures that Sehwag bats for at least an hour daily and faces a variety of bowlers, both fast and spin" and prone for argument.
There is no doubt that he will make a strong come back. He is too good player to miss out. All he has to do is to be consistent. There is no doubt when Veeru scores India always has a chance of winning.
You are a great batsman. Everyone has a bad day. So dont get upset. My suggestion is that think positively always. You are a matchwinner. You can comeback with a high score. Now you take some rest (mentally) and get ready for the worldcup. People are waiting for you to watch your game.

even u should join a rapidex course to understand the meaning of "putting in context" and "metaphors"...seriously!
i think sehwag shud come down the order at no.5 or 6 instead of opening. He has a problem dealing with swinging balls & bouncers and as he faces the spinners well he shud come down the order.India has a lot of talent in uthappa & ganguly & as india has dhoni & to an extent yuvraj as finishers sehwag is well suited as a finisher of the innings.

Virendra shewag is really a Match winner... Guys like him should not be comapred and he has class and we should be fortunate if he picks prime form at World cup..
Bottom Line Viru should open as he can decide match in 10overs .....

Why 10...he decides in 1 or 2 overs & sits in the dressing room. That is the whole problem.

Lasting 2 overs for him looks as if he is doing a big favour to Indian Team.I wonder where is his self esteem gone when he used to compare himself with upcoming Sachin. Veeru is on the wrong track and Uthappa/gambhir are just on the verge to take his place.

He has been opening the innings in the last 6 months continuously and has been instrumental in pushing the team directly into gas chambers of defeat. What's the use of a opener if Dravid has to take over in the very 1st over every time.Is veeru on marriage party or what! He has got capabilities but Talent NO SIR! and he should approach the game seriously.U must listen to his interveiew as he still maintains that this is HIS STYLE of playing. And we feel he must have well understood that there is no HIS STYLE it is already stale and well read by opposition bowlers.Match Winner he hwas! No more now he has become an embarassment and free baggage.Needs some hard toiling in the field than to count the incoming AD cheques.

Uthappa in better form at the moment. Success rate of scoring is better. Sehwag should never open for India again. Success rate must be 1 out of 3 matches. But for sehwag, it is nearly 1 out of 5 matches, he is only successful in scoring more than 50. in world cup, each match is crucial. no need to take risk on him.
Whereas, if Sehwag is at No.7 , good idea if he pitch hits. But if India collapses in batting, he cannot be the savoiur or be the wall at the moment. Yuvraj or Karthik is suitable for that role. Sehwag has no patience for taking singles or rotating the strike

Line UP
1)Uthappa (Bat in a flash) 2)Ganguli (Bat Ball - Field) 3)Tendulkar (Bat Ball) 4)Dravid (Bat -- and keep batting :) ) 5)Dhoni ( Bat with an accelerator in handle :) Keep ) 6)Yuvraj Singh (Bat Ball Field)/ Raina ( Bat Field ) 7)Sehwag(BAT Bawl)/Karthik(Bat Keep)/Kaif(Bat Field) 8)Pathan ( Ball Bat ) 9)Agarkar ( Ball Bat both or - based on that days lottory) 10)Zaheer Khan ( Ball ) 11) Kumbley ( Ball)/ Bajji ( Ball or provide that final ball Six if needed :) )
Sehwag should montior No.6 Batting ,its good for him at present situation,He should play in World cup,its boost to Team India. He has to plan stand at crease for 20 Overs, Sehwag is dashing batsman and useful off spinner Definately he is classic player for Indian team He came to Team as an Off Spinner in 2001, He gave lot of contribute to Tema India. Even though he is good at Bat & Bowl from long time, Every player get some bad time, now its to Sewhag,We hope that we watch his previous form in World cup
You just play your natural game and while playing u Just think that u are playing against Pakistan only. The Stats shows that you played some Fantastic innings against them like in Multan.

Oh Dear, Fluke happens once or twice. Not always and everywhere. Sehwag has Test Centuries in South Africa, England, West Indies, India, Australia and Pakistan. He has played the pace of Brett Lee and the swing of New Zealanders on rank bad pitches. He also handled the negative outside the leg stump bowling of Giles better than all other Indian players. Just the previous Test series in West Indies he scored a Test Hundred and 2 90 scores in ODIs. If he had a really poor series, it was only in South Africa this time. Especially the way he threw his wicket to the rookie spinner Harris in the first innings. The whole of South Africa bowling was at his mercy. all he had to do was stay at the wicket. Runs were flowing. But he played the most atrocious shot to get out and India lost the momentum in the test and went on to lose the test. So he deserved to be dropped. But only to give him a rap on the knuckles. But you can't keep him out forever because they don't make Match-Winners like Sehwag every day! Come back Sehwag, Play sensibly and stay fit. Because, Team India needs you to Win the World Cup and You too need to play for Team India, because you know nothing else. Certainly we can't have you selling Pav-Bhaji on Mumbai Streets. Good Luck to Team India and Sehwag!

well if that was a fluke i think you should go n watch 195 against aus, melbourne day 1... or may be his 2 centuries in new zealand before last world cup wen everyone was lost in the swing.. or may his debut century againt SA might help you..I think the ball was swinging then.. need not say anythin else abt his class.. definitly out of form.. hope he gets back soon
