Sachin Ganguly, Sachindranath or Sachin Kumar Ganguly is a very common name in Bengal. In the telephone directory you may find atleast hundred of names like Sachin Ganguly. Of course all Gangulys are Bengalees just as all Tendulkars are Mumbaikars. All Bengalees are however not Gangulys, but 90 % of Bengalis support Ganguly. Is there any Saurav Tendulkar? Tell me if anybody heard that name.

Ya You are right! I am an ardent fan of Saurav and like his leadership better than Sachin's. But both a great players of this generation. Sachin obviously edging out on the game. But Dada is great too! Its like..if Federrer wouldn't have been around Roddick would have become someone like Sampras (14 Slams in 12 years) but Fed has 10 slams in 3 years. Similarly if Sachin wouldn't have been around Dada would have been compared with Lara and Ponting etc. But yes dada is a great player too. Not like Sachin though...did you how tendlya is spinning the ball nowadays apart from that essay a baroda?
On paper and current form, mumbai team are clear favourites. There certainly is a fragility in their batting lineup, which was exposed in the first three matches of the season and which they have to a certain extent plugged. Yet the scoreline of 0 for 5 against Baroda will be at the back of their minds. They have a very strong bowling attack with the return of the internationals...agarkar/zaheer/nair/hazare/powar/kulkarni/mota...an embarrassment of riches..thou it would be unfair to hazare or mota if either of them is dropped as these youngsters have toiled to take the team upto the finals. Being a mumbaikar, all luck to the team.
Let us hope for a close encounter. Our heroes will shine in both the teams. Pressure would be on Mumbai. Bengal comes with their morals high, series of wins already. Only the last battle remains. Buck up Bengal.

Change ur mentality..buddy. Two teams are playing i.e Bengal vs Mumbai. YOu can support any team as per wish. But if bengal defeats, it does not mean that its defeat of bengalis. Keep in mind, Bengal team has got manoj tiwari, rohon gavaskar. So its not team of bengalis, its the team from Bengal.
