In Australia and other european countreis Sports men may be are an ordinary commodity.The reason for them to be so is people welcome and render hospitaly as one among them with some recon. In India and other parts of the sub-continent sports person specialy when it happens to be a cricketer are placed next to God. So comparision between two countries and the mental public block differs We still tend to remain happy.
nice people but if these two guys find u on the pitch with a anything that looks like a cricket bat, they'll blow ur head off with a perfumed ball...so mr summit dont be so happy about these things..i wish our cricketrs were like that..no they are all for the money and nothing else..except dada!

absolutely right; Aussies r going to make it a hat trick of world cups.No team is good enough to stop them.

"Not all day is same" and thats what history tells us, we are in the same position as we were in 1983 (underdogs, indian team is at 6th spot). Plus Sachin coming into the form same way as in last world cup (remember a bad series in newzealand but sachin just came to form and he washed all teams in worldcups)... everything is happenning, its just matter of time u will see. (Today England beat Aussies, england yeah team which was not even having their key players).
They looks good McGrath seems to be ready for new role but I was suprised to see Clark, may be he is also preparing for early retierment after possible washout in WorldCup'07 (obviously, India will take revenge).

However I wud still like my Indian team to win, no matter how mediocre they are!

Ashish read the blogs after Oz trashed India in the finals 2003 world cup ,every one said what you saying today ,Oz beware India will trash u guys from now but alas they came to India trashed them here and took away the champions trophy and exactly what they gonna do in the world cup.
