It is time teams like Bangladesh should be barred from playing International Cricket at this level. A few fluke wins do n ot make them eligible to paly cricket at the highest level.
Instead, the ICC should have a second rung of teams and only the winners in the second league should be elevated to the highest level.
Sometimes I feel that these "C" grade teams are included only for the real seniors to improve their averages and regain their so called lost form.
we all know most of the team go after these hapless MINNOWS and break and make many records!! why this is not possible against the AUSSIES? i think the very name of aussies is intimdating for these teams!!! how else can u explain a team like INDIA who did wonderfully well against England and Pakistan surrender without a fight against AUSSIES??

Bangla Desh have defeated all teams in ODI so you cannot call them minnows. But yes they were totally hyped up after the WC, but NZ showed them their true place, bowling out for 93 and reaching the targe in 6 overs. Watching this game it appeared as if NZ were batting against a school side.
Is it same Bangladesh which humiliated us in the World Cup? The Bangladesh lost the series 3-0. I think now their management is eager to have series against India to get back their confidence.

One fluke win here and there means nothing. Bangladesh is really a school Junior team.

India defeated BD 3-0 in the ODIs and 2-0 in tests immediately after the WC. Dont talk rubbish without knowing the facts.

Mr Menon, I think you understand first. I understand what WW has written, he says that BD needs to play against India to get back their confidence? Why does he think they will get back their confidence by playing against India? India gave them a thumping 3-0 victory in ODIs after WC, so why please tell how would BD get their confidence back if playing against India?I am sure that India will beat BD 9 out of 10 times.
