Politicians or Cricketers?
by Ripesh Patel on Dec 30, 2007 08:20 AM

Indian cricketers make big promises before series begins.

Indian cricketers do not keep the promises.

When India looses, crickets still give hope to public reminding that some more games are left.

Promises does not motivate them to improve performance and level the series or win the series

Indian cricketers are smart in finding excuses and scapegoats in the end. For example, last two three test series in Australia were started in Brisbane which is arguably the toughest pitch for Indian crickets to adapt and play on. It is the fastest Australian pitch and we have lost almost all openers in Brisbane. Every-time the excuse sold by the cricketers were the Brisbane wicket. This time it is not Brisbane but Melbourne and that too had Indian type wicket.

And history keeps repeating..

Revealed - Key Reason for Melbourne defeat...
by Satish Pujari on Dec 29, 2007 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

Net score of our four diggaz players (Sachin,Ganguly, dravid, laxman)

Extra runs conceded in each innings because of old legs : 60 Runs.(no run out opportunities)

Runs scored by them in second innings : 112 runs

Net runs scored in second innings : 62 runs

Net avg runs scored : 15.5 runs per diggaz....

Any day quartet of youngsters like say : Utthappa, Gambir, Rohit Sharma,Yuvraj will bring us more than 15 runs avg plus making life difficult for aussie batsmen with their electric fielding, making our attack look razar sharp and also effecting few run outs in process....

That is is reason between victor and defeat and that's how we won the 20 20 world cup.....

Young guns for 20/20 and 50/50.i dont think Dhoni,Uthappa,Yuvi better in test. they will get more chances than anyone thats why may be in future they will. i dont think still they understand test cricket. yuvi always think oneday display will keep him for another 5o onedays. in test he can't play for 5 days.
there is no fire in dhoni now all he is given to deepika or trying for some one. he is not concentrated in his play.Dinesh kartik attitude is firing . Dhoni is over Hyped cricketer in indian history.

I'll see when this quartet retires, how many Test victories your 'young guns' bring. Did you notice the body language of Yubraj and Dhoni in the field and while batting? It's negative to say the least. They are frightened!
The real fighter in this team is still old horses - Kumble, Laxman, and Ganguly.

Australian Bowlers are not so great i hope.

1)their fielding and keeping is great.
2)Their openers are good.
3)they are well plan(they bowl 2 balls on to the body another one straight or outside offstump) our bowlers why they dont scare atleast try like that ? always keep on doing same balls nothing trying different.here we missing sreesanth
4)see the videos of the batsmen who is out in his previous games do the same.
5)umpires are so great when they appeal for anything.
6)Australians dont want the technology because umpire are good for them.
