These players nowdays r been treated as a puppet each match they play they have to give the 100% result which is not possible to any player of the world one match there performance are down immediately there second opinion is been raised so such type of players are in extreme pressure..regarding munaf no show no one knows whats the matter but it will be sureshot something serious matter coz none of our players are so much overconfidence about themselves its only possible for those pakis player like shoiab so i dont think anyone should critcize the player before knowing the reason...anyhow i dont consider munaf to be vry much successful bowler in australia pitches but still they should give him a try rather then making them sit like how it happened with irfan pathan who is not playing the first test whereas he was the best bowler when india visited australia last time

munaf appears to be a sick person every time he takes field and doesn't give confidence to the people watching him. moreover he is terrible fielder and a liability to the side. instead praveen kumar or even agarkar may be considered.

he is playing since a decade & can play for one more decace. The winds makes his run. hahahaha

Mr.sampat the wind making him run is better than the wind stopping munaf from running. Agarkar was Indias best seam bowler on their last two tours of Australia and he should have been picked ahead of pankaj singh from rajasthan. Mr.Lalit modi used his clout to get the Rajasthan boy a tourist ticket to australia... good sight seeing for pankaj singh i am sure

Agarkar dont deserve anymore to be in the team. He has done better in past but consistency matters. If the selectors are ready to sack Dravid due to his poor performance, no wonder they can sack Agarkar as well. Zaheer is doing well now for India.
I think Munaf has never been 100% on the field, either due to injuries or due to form...and his no show is the proof of the same....If BCCI is looking at sending some experienced bowler to the tour down under then I think they can still bank on Ajit Agarkar...watsoever has been the case but still with his pace and experience he is the best bet available to India after Zaheer and R.P.

Mr.Mark. Ajit Agarkar will be very effictively in Australia. Don't forget when India won the Adelaide Test Match last time in 2003 Agarkar has took 6 wickets, which enabled us to win that only match
Ranadeb Bose has been consistent in domestic matches. He should be sent to Australia. Munaf does not bowl any faster than Bose, these days. The selectors are ignoring Bose who has been the most hard working bowler in India at the moment.

I agree with u. Bose should at least get a chance to prove himself and if the venue is Australia, may be his luck will change. But the guy really has some potential in him.
BCCI does not own people's right to play anywhere. Munaf is the best right arm pacer in India. But Munaf has been treated badly repeatedly and Sreesanth and now Ishant Sharma are being promoted. Screw BCCI. Join ICL. When the Indian cricket fans become more sophisticated, they will learn cricket is cricket and BCCI is not really India.

Sorry Dolllor. You don't seem to have watched much cricket. Munaf's body langauge is pathetic, he feilds poorly, but he certainly is a wonderful bowler when he gets his act together, unfortunately I don nor believe he has got the right attitude and commitment for Indian Cricket.

You must be joking buddy, Munaf Patel is crap. Every time he turns up on the paddock, its almost as if someone's held him at the gun point and he can't wait to run away from it. The way he trundles into his bowling run up and the effort he puts into his deliveries is a joke. You can tell the guy is not commited. I am surprised the board is even considering him sending to Australia.
Venkatesa Prasad is doing a wonderful job as a bowling coach. However it wasnt right of him to critisize Munaf publically - unless his goal was to get him permanently out of the indian team. He is a good fast bowler - who needs some mentoring.
