Surprisingly Harbhajan looks the weakest link in the bowling line up. He is bowling very flat and flights occasionally. Even then he is too predictable and the batsmen are able to play him easily. He is too defensive now compared to 3 years ago when he used to beat the batsmen in flight frequently. The doosra which he talks about seems to disappear from his armoury - he hardly bowls them now. Unless the pitch turns square, Harbhajan may not be effective at all. Perhaps too much one day cricket has affected his bowling in tests? In any case if he does not take wickets in 2nd innings there is no point in selecting him for next test. I hope he improves and let the ball do the talking rather than talk big before the games.

harbjan was wktless in 6 matches till he took 2 for 43 in 4th odi against aussie but he was not dropped instead he played full odi series against pakisan harbajan and zahir khan perform on field once 4-5 matches but faithful chelas to superstars so vengi will never drop them

Suman Bhat, Very harsh words but you got it right on Bhajji. Zaheer is very good, and doing much better job especially when compared with Bhajji. Who can replace Zaheer at this time? Munaf or VRV? That both are lost in their own whatever. Pathan is great but not quite tested yet after his return. Sreesanth is still growing. Sharma is talented, but young and inexperienced..

zaheer won us the crucial test match in england..and sreesanth too won us a crucial test match in south africa..r.p singh is a rooke and he his learning...
bhajji inspite of playing for so many years//is not able to take wickets...
Indian selectors shud ask him to start playing domestic matches in india and prove his form

I agree with your and Suman's opinion on Bhajji. I stated before he is just not learning as he is still bowling flat and fast without any variation. He just talks big about having invented mistry bowl and etc, but he doesn't even bowl Doosra much often. Warne even said the same yesterday that Bhajji is bowling flat and fast, and that's not going to work.. Anyway, Bhajji's peformance over the last few months says it all... Chawala should have been in the team.. duunnnoo what happened to him all of a sudden?

zaheer khan is good bowler..he learned his lesson after being dropped..but bhajji didnt learn his lesson..he is taking his place for granted...
350 is still a decent first innings score and remember indians have to bat last on this picth..
consider that fact neither of indian nemesis like ponting/clrke/gilchrist/syminds have fired.. just one hayden got them this far..what if even two of the above mentioned players fire
Still indians have done a good job..much much better than what other teamshave achieved against australia

i hope tmmrow..they will finsih the aussie innings early..and bat well..this is battin pitch..which is slightly on slower side...
they need to see off the new balll..once the seam gets old...india can score runs..and keep aussies on back foot...this is very good chance for indians to be in the drivers seat
Kumble did his part, but now he has to tell hiws boys to concentrate in staying there in front of the wkt. Our boys must not surrender the wicket by being scared of "nasty" Ozs. I hope Zaheer gets the last wicket in his first over, aqnd then India need to schore at least 475 runs to keep pressure on Ponting's team.
Team India can do if all the big names keep applying and frustrate the Lee-Clark-Johnson-Hogg and Co. Jaffar got to apply himself, Dravid needs to play like his old self of "wall", then we have Laxman, T'kar, Dada and Yuvi, Dhoni, and if necessary Kumble can also contribute 50 runs.
