1/2 bat = 6k runs 1 bat = 6 X 1 / 2 = 3k Runs Note: wider the blade more catches behind the wicket.
Dada is great in giving catches at slip while batting, can any one please provide stats that how many time he have give catches at slip, and what was the percentage of this in his total number outs. It will be great if one can provide duration of in years i.e. year of first slip catch to last. I don't want any breakup of first, second or third slip as it all depends on the thickness of edge of bat which ball took and i feel that this is quite difficult to maintain.

RE:Dada is gr8 by Divyesh Sampat on Dec 26, 2007 01:47 PM I would also be intrested in getting stats related how mahy times he was run-out and how many times re was responsible for others run-out. I think he is 2nd to Haq.
Dada is very good in giving catches at slip... can any one provide some stats that how many time he has give catch at slip (1, 2, 3 doesn't matter as it depends on thickness of edge of bat, which is difficult to control) and what was the percentage? Thanks

Aussie captain Ricky Ponting praised Ganguly ...just before the Melbourne test in following manner . He said "Ganguly has made very good hundreds in conditions Indian players are not used to playing in. He is a good player, it is a great milestone."
While Aussie adversaries like Ponting and Steve Waugh can be sporting and praise Dada impartially ..our own countrymen who hate Ganguly due to regional considerations are still abusing him on this board...isnt that a bit strange?

We indians don't appreciate what Ganguly has done for Indian Team . He is the one who stood against the delhi and Mumbai Politics. He is the one who united the team and no one was there to support him when he was kicked at his back.
