Why aussies are MORE aggressive this time??
by Sharad Saxena on Dec 24, 2007 07:17 PM

I think they will miss the great services of both of bowling legends...Mcgrath and Warne!!!

And the best way (Rather Australian way...hahaha) to attack others WHEN U R WEAK and thats why every new or veteran australian player is trying to UN NECESSARY praise their current team

Ian chappel told coach has no contribution in aussie success then WHY DO THEY HAVE A COACH...hahahah????

This is the FIRST TIME they fear of LOSING by Indian cricket team

Standard must be there in Umpiring
by Vishu Dhingra on Dec 24, 2007 04:57 PM

The umpiring standard must be there in this series otherwise out of 8 inning "Tendulkar" will be got out by Umpires more than 5 times instead by the bowlers. In Australia and England Tendulkar always gets out by umpires and this is the biggest reason why India does not get success in these countries.

Stats show this!!

LG ICC Test Championship Stats
Courtesy: Cricinfo

There is stiff competition among the teams placed second to fifth, with South Africa, Sri Lanka and fourth-placed India all on 109, only separated by fractions of a ratings point, while England are close on their heels at 107.

However, top-ranked Australia remain the runaway leaders, and even a 4-0 loss to India at home won't see them lose the No. 1 spot.

Lee wants to challenge Tendulkar
by Vasuki harnahalli on Dec 22, 2007 12:06 PM

As mentioned by a few who wrote before about this article, Lee in fact has expressed respect for Sachin as a batsman. Only thing I wonder is what makes him claim this is Sachin's last tour of Australia? For masters like Sachin, you never know how long they can play. If Capler Vassels could play for SA at 41, will Sachin not tour Australia at 36 /37 ?

Undoubtedly Sachin and Saurav are good batsmen, but you can't compare them to Dravid (in tests), he is far ahead of them.

Yes. You yourself have an answer. When the best and the "next best" do not perform well.. then the team is going to loose. Even when the "Not so good" are doing well., they are not playing for win...

You forgot to mention that Tendulkar was playing the lone warrior role in the 1999 Test series against Australia winning the MOS award, while Dravid averaged below 15 in that series.
