Success in one series will not be a passport for future series. Harbajan is on cloud nine for his lacklusture performance against Pakistan and talking philosophy. He was the same person not considered not much long ago. But then there more Harbajans and better than him still waiting in the wings in India. Such persons should be given a chance. Harbajan Singh is surely on his way out and Auz tour will prove his undoing. Not only for him, it will be last tour for the trio Dravid, Sachin and Ganguli. These dying lamps are asserting themselves in the present tour. It will not too long before they are extinguished from the scene. Indian love consistent performances like what we saw from Dhoni. They like youngsters and not grand brandmasters doing some ads here and there. These guys had their time in the middle and made some huge money. Its time for youngsters to be nurtured. BCCI may be listening to me, they should come out with a plan to form a second string to be inducted in the main team. There are good spinners, alrounders still working hard in the domestic crickets like Abdullah of Mumbai. He is a classic left hander playing his batting like a seasoned batsman, though he comes down in lower order. But seeing his style and mammoth scoring no one will ever say that he is a bowler first. Such talents should be encouraged and taken to overseas tour so that they mature with the exeperience they gain in the tour. Why stick on to the oldies and retiring persons. Its time for young.

Dude, come to think off it, the so called consistent performer Dhoni vll be a brand ambassador for some crap product just like sachin/sourav/dravid are right now. People start going gaga over him. The sponsors as they are famous for catches the tail of the winning horse. This is never going to stop in India as long as people start considering sports as sports and sports persons as sports persons and leave it at that, nothing more, nothing less. I am an avid cricket/Sachin fan but I don't consider sachin or anybody for that matter as god. Bottom line is no matter what their age is, as long as they are performing and playing for the winning cause, everything is fine. A team should be a balanced mixture of a experienced players and bubbling youth. There is no way the young players without experience can get victories overnight.

not good but excellent. instead wasting his time in philosophy Harbajan should continue training and improve his spinning skills. This will come handy in Australia.
