This is a small news for Indian Team. That's it. Its nothing but another victory for Australia. But for sure according to them, AUssies are becoming weaker and weaker and hence they are able to take trophies after trophies. They lost their strength after the departs of Mcgrath, Warne, etc and hence the reason for contiguous wins. Yes, its a very small news indeed of no signifant importance to the men in blue (aka) the great cricketing team in the world.

I think Ponting will break sachins records but this should not bother us we should be more concerned about the indian teams performance than individual records. Records are meant o be broken but what matters is how many matches the team wins bcoz of these runs.

Sachin is not even 10% of ponting. He never plays when the team needs him most. Cunningly he will score only in useless inconsequential matches.

You are partly right Nilesh, that he is useless in deciders and crucial situations. Apart from this, i don't have a clear idea on the cunning sentiments...

ys v shd nt talk abt record bt i will always say sachin is more capable in comparision to ponting. n for ur kind info ,very difficult for ponting to brake sachin record.bcoz he is playing very well since 3-4 yrs.thre r so many players who did tht. bt after that they lost their consistency. same will b happened wid ponting also. except 1-2 occasion sachin ws consistent thts y he is called sadabahaar :)
sachin is still the best batsmen in the world than ponting.he has shown every body that he does not look for centuries instead he wants the team to win. of course pontings centuries were maximum match winning because his team had the bowling attack which could defend any total on the other hand sachin helps the team to get big total by his centuries but our bowling attack fails to captalise it.

nw as a batsman sachin is far ahead. his techniq is better than pontings. he has made more runs than him.he is still above the other after 18 yrs. he is master in both version of game. more ever he is handling the pressure of more than 1 arab ppl over a decade. nw tell who is better.

Y shud u always compare ne one with Sachin.By the way,Sachin still got more runs,centuries & man of the match than ponting.Ponting is in his prime now,last 3-4 yrs totally belong to him ,whereas sachin has past his prime long back.So comparing them makes no sense at all.

Why should we compare Sachin with others.We appreciate a good game and good performance by any body.Ponting may lack the charisma of Sachin and Lara but he is a devastating batsman.Give the man what he is due Swarup
