Inzamam was a truly great player; his inability to score 10000 runs and outscore Mindad's aggregate number of runs notwithstanding. Where he scored over Tendulkar was batting under duress. Inzamam would almost always be fighting, when the chips were down, while our own Mr Tendulkar would consistently fail.

in my view, he was a good captain as well! unfortunately, he had seen quite a bit of bickering behind his back by his own players!! nevertheless, a great bat!!
