There has been a lot of talk about Shaun Tait coming in who is bowling 150km/h plus,'' said McGrath of the South Australian, who rocked Queensland with match figures of 10-98 bowling at speeds touching 160km/h at the Gabba last week.
"Guys are saying it is the quickest they have ever seen which is pretty special.''
The amazing evolution of Stuart Clark - McGrath's replacement as Test metronome - combined with maturing Lee's accuracy has "Pigeon'' convinced Australia can accommodate Tait.
"I always knew they could. You have Stuie Clark to do that (containing) role,'' said McGrath, while filming a commercial for Elders in Adelaide.
"Brett has really impressed me the way he has come back and bowled this summer, getting man of the series against Sri Lanka. I have been impressed with Mitchell Johnson for a long time.
"It's whether you have the balance with a spinner in or whether you rely on Andrew Symonds and Michael Clarke and have another quick.''
Serial pest Sourav Ganguly this week posted his maiden double ton against Pakistan and duly claimed India had the batting depth to humble Australia. World Cup hero McGrath disagrees

This is because Sachin is the God in human form. But Ganguly is just a human who wants to be a God!

Son of God What a team World cup winner team that way he can be on the stage with trophy by himself and show his incredible face.
in india everybody thinks he can do that job if he given a chance. prime minister, president, coach, captian , film hero etc. it is easy to say that ' We can do' but it is not as easy as we think. i played tennis ball cricket in gully. still we experience the presuare there also. then why not in international level. we think we can become a hero but on staage it is not possible. even in our house we ar zeero then what to say......!. so stop criticizing our heros . we have entertainment from cricket. yes defet hurts but our critics can't do anything, if they wins we enjoy , if they loose we start to critize. after all this is game. see west indies, see england, see south africa, one day it's same to australia.
if india hv 2 use dravid/pathan as a opener then y they hv gone wid 3 openers excluding karthik.including kathik it will bcome 4 openers. the major question is who will play in middle order?bcoz only 4 places r there n those r occupied by sachin dravid ganguly n laxman.they cnt b put out.

yaar aisa na kaho wo bechara wise captain hai. he cnt b put out of the team. very difficult for viru n yuvi both to be in last eleven. ys bt yuvi shd b given the chance n for tht dravid can open the inning. bt it will also b nt gud bcoz india is goin wid 3 genuine openers(jaffer, gambheer, sehwag )n karthik is also thre.instead if they will say sm middle order batsman 2 open the inning then it will b worthless.

mujhe nahi chahiye, lekin aap chahe toh apne gharmein rakhle sakteh hain! Seriously, Dhoni has to be only the 12th man carrying drinks IF Yuvi and Sehwag both have to play. What is the point in selecting Sehwag in the touring party if he has to be benched? And how can you drop Yuvi after his fantastic knock at Bangalore?
In a Courier Mail article they referred to Sourav Ganguly as a 'serial pest'. The exact quote is below. This expression doesn't sound too nice that too appearing in a newspaper. Perhaps the phrase 'serial pest' has some nicer meaning in Australia. Does any one know about this?

serial pest means a persistently annoying person. dada has a record of getting under the skin of Australians, and in particular steve waugh on numerous occasions.
However, it was in bad taste for a reputed newspaper like Courier Mail to come out like this.
