Come on guys why do you always think so negative. See the test record of India Vs Australia from 1996. India has won 3 series, lost 2 and drawn 1. Although all the 3 won were in India, the present team looks so confident and strong. And including Sehwag was really a good move. He has performed well in the previous India Australia series. I just hope the seniors will be of great support because it is going to be their last series in Australia.

U R wrong, you need quality fast bowlers to win in Australia. The bowlers India has right now are extremely ordinary except for Kumble. Among fast bowlers only Zaheer is capable of getting wickets. You can't win a series against Australia just by scoring runs. That's what happened in Kolkata and Bangalore recently.

He is not the best spinner of the cricket ball, but defiately he is smart bowler. He knows when and where (which area) to bowl. He does not throw the ball, but there is variation in his bowling which fetches him wickets. He is a big threat to tailenders.

the main prb for india in australia is bowling bcoz indian bowlin is unexperienced except kumble.n if kumble could nt get wkt then india will suffer.i m sayin dis bcoz kumble's record out side the subcontinent is very ordinery.
Bengal Ranji team appears to be very weak without Sourav. Today it was all out for 149 runs against UP. Their best batsman Manoj Tiwary made 2 runs and was lbw to Praveen Kumar. LR Shukla made 22 and was out to Chawla. P. Kumar, B. Kumar and P. Chawla took 3 wickets each! I don't know how a team with such pathetic batting is playing in the elite group of Ranjis! I hope Ranadeb Bose is able to restrict UP to bring some life into this game!

Looks like a repeat of their performance against Orissa in the previous match. In fact, that was even worse, could barely manage 100 scores in either innings!

Yes spin department appears to be very weak for India. Harbhajan is totally out of form and will probably warm the benches. I think India will play three seamers and one spinner (Kumble) at most of the places. Even Chawla would have been a better option compared to Harbhajan.

To add insult to the injury, UP were 128/2 at stumps. Raina thrashed the Bong bowlers to be not out at 55 in 67 balls. I think he is taking revenge of all the insults which Bongs have thrown at him. If UP play their cards right, they can inflict a heavy defeat on Bongs. Go UP Go!
All this talk about putting up a fight is just wishful thinking. I foresee at least 2 innings defeats and huge margin thrashings, so that the tests will all be over within 4 days each!The hype created by the team management and the BCCI is just to ensure that we folks subscribe to the telecasts and ensure that the BCCI gets back a huge profit. So guys beware! Don't fall in to the trap. Be realistic. Even if we manage to draw one test, it will be a major achievement. Of course, we can learn how to play cricket in a professional manner as we watch the aussies annhiliate this team. Already we seem to have fallen for the Aussie mind games by picking up Sehwag - means we are already one down for nothing! We will regret not having murali Karthick. At the end of the day, your batsmen might have scored 300000 runs amongst them, but to win you need to take 20 wickets in each match. the fun begins - a grinding for our bowlers in the first innings followed by our batsmen dancing to the Kangaroo tunes. All those runs made on featherbeds will just vanish as they are confronted by 160kmph deliveries! What do you think??
