I personally didn't like this breakaway league concept in the first place. I say its just a way for Zee to show they have too much money with them and just want to spend it. BCCI and Zee both are hypocrites. BCCI as usual is giving its players no time to rest between series and has now come up with the IPL League. Curse BCCI And ICL.. It sucks
If one carefully sees the players who played in ICL, they are either retired, or the ones who have lost hope of getting back in their national teams, guys like Shabbir, Thiru Kumaran, Badani, Dinesh Mongia, Umar are all failures at the international level. Good to see the tournament do well, but i dont think these cricketers have any future apart from ICL now
This is for those who always say that people from south India are not fit to play cricket. Im not creating any regionalism in this post but this is only for those Hypocrites, who do not respect cricketeers from southern region. See The Guys have proved that they r the best.

By the Way...the STAr performers for Chennai Superstars were not South Indians, but Aussies Stuart Law & Ian Harvey & Shabbir Ahmed..a Pakistani!!...LOL!!!
However, no one can challenge South India when it comes to Vegetarian Food...I can bet on that..LOL!!!

Poor guys...would like to see this edition rewind it again in 2008 with fresh concepts that the cricket has not seen so far..my suggestion to kapil and boys is that think OUT OF BOX to come up with something extraordinary to have a plaster on the Autonomy BCCI'S nose.

dude do you even watch all the news channels.. i doubt it.. i saw ICL final footage on NDTV 24x7 today at about 11 in the night.. so how can you say that news channels arent covering it..
I have to say i am lil bit surprised by attitude of NDTV,CNN news channels they waste their valuable time criticizing mistakes of BCCI and discuss the sensational topics of BCCI. But they don't evaluate or Analyze any ICL match, is it that all these news channels stand for is Controversies and Masala in cricket. And wat was shocking was one of the NDTV Hindi correspondent asks why the media is not covering ur tournament :). We luv crictizing on sobbing over bad things when something new comes we don't encourage it. ICL is a good concept, it does give opportunity to players like TP Singh, Rayudu,Abid ali to compete and train with best like Bevan,Harvey,Tuffey,Crains,Mc millan..etc..,. And more importantly it will KILL the Star worship that we in India are used to

yes buddy you are right.and also the news papers were so worried about the TAM rating they did not find to mention the fielding standardin the tournrmrnt and in the final absolutly fantastic.

well ipl will be all glamour with all the international stars playing and hardly any local youngsters will be given a chance just the fan and fare to earn money and keep icl at bay thats it is not going to improve the standard of cricket in india ........
